Why? If he could re-coup a 1st round pick for Rosen (and possibly even more) it would be a neutral move for him at worst and not reflect poorly on him. There is a chance that this is the reason they chose Kingsbury to be their head coach in the first place. It is not a likely move, but certainly not out of the realm of possibility either.
There are those out there in NFL circles that believe Rosen had a decent first year given the talent around him and still has plenty of potential. Many on this board want to call him a bust already, but I do not believe that is a universal opinion amongst all 32 teams.
If he was worth a 1st round pick last year, why wouldn’t he be worth a 1st rounder this year in a weaker QB class? If he came out this year he would likely have gone top 5.
On the radio they also said the Raiders could be in the mix because of the picks they have, but I personally don’t believe he is a Gruden type of player. I recall Gruden questioning his commitment to football.
On Mike and Mike this morning, they speculated that The Cardinals could draft Kyler Murray at #1 overall and trade Rosen if they could get enough for him. They said the rumor came from Schefter reporting that Kingsbury previously stated he would take Murray #1 if the was in the NFL.
if they did it would make them only the second team in the modern era to draft a QB in the first round in back to back years.

I meant it worked as far as believing that we got the right National Champion, but I do wish that play-off games would have been better. I fear that adding additional teams may just mean more bad games, unfortunately.
Gilligans Island. I loved that show when I was a kid.
Speaking of Islands, Fantasy Island was a good show too. Peter Dinklage from Game of Thrones yelling out "the plane, the plane"; I can see it now.
I voted Allen. I REALLY wanted to say Kyle, for sentimental reasons, but JA was an obvious difference maker when he was on the field. He is one of those players that makes you think there is always a chance, even when things aren't going well.
I generally agree with the trade down concept, but if they "fall in love" with a player during the process and believe he could be a difference maker; All pro type of player and he is there at 9, I'd be happy they took him.
Well thought out post, I appreciate the effort. I would love to see a trade like that (Washington) happen but it seems like a bit much. I'd be happy with that trade minus the 2020 1st rounder though. You gave me some players in FA and the draft to research a bit more, so thanks!
