  1. It will not. Darnold will be good but I am much happier that we have Allen. He will be a superstar. Allen and Darnold are very completive with each other, on and off the field, and I have a feeling that Allen will not allow himself to be bested by Darnold at anything. He is the alpha...
  2. Falcons stadium was pretty empty last night too. The fans that were there were pretty enthusiastic, but they don't have nearly as many die-hards as we do. They can use them to wipe their tears after they realize the media over-inflated the teams abilities once again.
  3. I agree with this, especially the punt return part. I am very intrigued by how his rugby skills would translate to punt or kickoff returns. I am also excited to see more of Singletary in the next 2 games, but game 4 should be a heavy dose of Wade.
  4. I was contemplating making the drive from Atlanta for this game but bailed at last minute. Hopefully I will be able to find it online. My guess is there will be plenty of Bills fans in attendance. What I want to see most is Ed Oliver making Cam feel the punishment promised by that stare he gave him a couple of days ago. I have a feeling he has bad intentions on his mind.
  5. Matt Ryan playing whole first half. Just threw 2 beautiful TD passes, both dropped in end zone Falcons fans booed loudly on both drops.
  6. Falcons fans around me don’t like Matt Ryan very much. Bitching about him constantly.
  7. I am at Jets Falcons game right now. Jets look better than Falcons right now. Darnold almost had his head taken off on one play.
  8. Prepare to be a hero (even if it was a well timed guess) or a goat of epic proportions. The “it fell through at the last second” excuse won’t save you.
  9. Oliver looks like one of those guys who manufactures a “hatred” for his opponents and convinces himself the opposing QB kicked his dog and stole his girlfriend. I love it.
  10. I heard the Texans head coach on the radio this morning saying that the joint practices are typically as important, if not more important than a pre-season game. He said it really helps him evaluate where his team is and what they need to work on.
  11. I would argue that Allen put it on Zay specifically so he could catch it and protect himself. Had it been any further in front of him, the safety would have been able to separate him from the ball rather than hit him after the “catch”. I guess we saw it differently.
  12. I could be wrong, but I don’t remember Tasker criticizing the throw. I thought he praised the throw and said Zay would likely have avoided the hit by catching the ball. If you are arguing that a QB is inaccurate if they don’t get the ball aligned to the receiver so that they are completely facing the QB, that is ridiculous. Hitting a receiver in stride on a crossing pattern or making an over the shoulder catch would preclude this. Perhaps I am misunderstanding your point?
  13. Funny thing is, he may not have made this roster if it weren't for the injuries. I love it when a player takes advantage of an opportunity when they get one.
  14. Call me crazy, but I officially conclude that White will have a better season.
  15. That’s why there are no responses about him being cut. Everyone is dancing in the streets.
  16. What I am curious about is if we can add him to the practice squad automatically or if he has to clear waivers first like other players.
  17. Nice! Hopefully this is Jerry Hughes all over again!
  18. And when a pass rusher got in completely untouched, he quickly protected himself and the ball rather than try and do too much and risk injury or turn over.
  19. That is the epitome of hitting through a guy.
  20. Hopefully he is helping his cause by performing on Special Teams. If he stands out there, he is harder to let go.
  21. Great summary, thanks. I know that it is the first pre-season game and they are being careful with Allen's usage, but I really would have loved to see him get one more series. He seems like the type of player that needs to warm up and get in a groove a bit. I really felt that if he had gotten any more series, he would have really shown what he is capable of. Kind of like when he took that last series at the Senior Bowl and had his best drive of the day. That being said, I thought he looked very good and will look even better once he consistently practices and plays with the same group of guys every day.
