He effectively retired due to lingering injuries. If you start refunding fans money every time an injury effects the teams chances of winning games, you are on a slippery slope. Even with the unfortunate timing, a true fan still cheers for their team, even against all odds. Suck it up and cheer for the players who did not retire and if you don’t want to attend the games, sell your tickets.

I am still not sure how I feel about this. On the surface, I would love to have him because he is a damn good football player, but once you factor in injury history, desired salary, etc, it starts to feel like a bad fit. That being said, I trust Beane and McDermott to make the right call.

Although Hockensen will likely be a great TE in this league, I hope we will always think of him as one of the 8 players that helped Ed Oliver fall into our lap.

I only chose six but really wanted 7. I struggled between Foster and Ray Ray but ultimately chose Foster for his skill set.

This is so very true. I actually re-watched the game this morning because there was so much negativity on the board. All in all, another decent performance, with plenty to be encouraged by.

I think Ray Ray played with a lot of heart last night. He may not be good enough, but damn, the effort was there.

I still have not been there yet but I am dying to go. Many of my family members say they are their favorite. I heard their Beef on Weck is stellar as well. I will be heading there when I come to town for a game in November. I usually find Anchor Bar too saucy and Duffs crispy and not over sauced. We have a Duffs in the Atlanta area now too, which is a huge bonus. If you don't prefer the "big 3", which ones are your favorite. (p.s., I agree that Anchor Bar is for tourists)
