  1. I don't think this is the case. He was trying to keep the Pats* punter from having more room to work with. My guess is that he did not consider the ramifications of time.
  2. I don't get the AJ Green obsession. He can't stay healthy. I don't want a guy who gives us one or two good games and then cheers from the sidelines. He has tons of ability, except the most important one, avail-ability.
  3. Patriots* were punting from Jets 40 or so and wanted to get a little more room for punter to work with, so they let clock run all way down and took delay of game. Gase declined penalty to keep them where they were, so the officials re-started the clock and Pats* lined up to punt again. This time they let it run all the way down and had someone jump off sides at last second. Declined again, 1min 22 sec wasted.
  4. I guess now we know why the Cheaters made sure to knock him out of the game before the 4th quarter.
  5. Long time manager of the Atlanta Braves.
  6. I think it’s funny how some people need to find negatives in a 10 point win. Yes, we had a rough start to the game and the Fins gave us more than we fans thought they had. But at the end of the day, we beat an NFL team by 10 points. Go Bills!!!!
  7. The new cardiac kids?
  8. You have to admit, that team played way above their normal level today.
  9. I’m starting to think it is because we are getting teams best shot. They WANT to beat us because we are getting a reputation. That was not always the case. So like you said, any win is a good win.
  10. Would have been a different game if Dawson Knox would have make those plays. We would have grabbed momentum much sooner.
  11. Fourty seven points total will be scored today we get all but 9
  12. Thanks for sharing. Please let us know when other random thoughts pop in your head...
  13. I understanding trading vets for picks, but frankly, if we keep winning the way we are, I hope we keep all hands on deck to make a run at it this year. A strong Defensive rotation will help quite a bit if we start advancing in the play-offs.
  14. Oh Lord, it is the Clowney rumor train all over again.
  15. I’m pretty sure that’s not the injured part.
  16. Too funny. It was very obvious in that interview this morning that he did not want to compliment or even discuss Knox, but he did it begrudgingly.
  17. Normally I worry about veteran QB's who can sit back in the pocket and go through their progressions, but that will not be the case this week. He will be running for his life and taking chances, which plays to our favor. Rosen will enter the game in 3rd quarter. (and we will make him ineffective as well)
  18. Over under for Rosen coming into the game. 5 minutes left in the 3rd quarter. Whether it is injury or incompetence, I think we will still see Rosen.
  19. LOL! How on Earth can his team believe anything he says at this point. Think they will keep Rosen when the draft Tua? Can't imagine there is much trade value left.
  20. Most likely, but it really stood out at first that he avoided Oliver when he was heaping praise on the DL. Now I get it though. I imagine the vets in the room do the praising instead?
  21. McDermott was interviewed this morning on GMFB and one of the first questions they asked him was to talk about the dominance of our Defense. He said it starts up front with the Defensive Line and mentioned Hughes, Star and Trent Murphy by name. He also talked about Edmunds, Poyer and Hyde. I was surprised he did not mentioned Oliver and wondered why he slighted him. But then, later in the interview Kyle excitedly asked him about the Dawson Knox angry run and McDermott was clearly reluctant to respond at first. He said "we like to keep our rookies hungry and humble to make sure they know they know they have to keep working hard" (paraphrase) McDermott reluctantly complimented Knox, but this definitely gave me great insight into how he treats Oliver and other rookies. This is old school, but I like it. This could easily backfire with some of the big egos in this league, but hopefully Oliver knows the drill and doesn't internalize the lack of praise. Thoughts on this? Anyone dislike this approach?
  22. It’s a good thing we are growing our own.
  23. That would set us back a year or two on this journey in my opinion. We need to keep moving forward, giving up one of our top 2 or 3 players takes away our momentum.
