  1. I don't think he meant he deserved top 3 money, I think he was saying statistically he had top 3 stats at his position. He thought they were disrespecting his play, not challenging his worth.
  2. Wow, that was ballsy. Great tackle
  3. Right? It must be Allen. He doesn’t throw a “catchable” ball. And yes, I have seen that said here more than once.
  4. So can we stop the Mahomes is awesome and Josh Allen is awful ridiculousness once and for all?
  5. Getting arrested for jumping on a car is pretty lame by the way...
  6. Is that why they went undefeated this year? Oh wait, they didn’t, because it is also unfair to assume we would face the same Defense if he was QB. His lack of mobility would still be exploited, just like it was in New England.
  7. Wuss jump. The real Bills mafia crazies jump up, not down.
  8. No one said that. Beane said Brady would be a back-up, which is probably accurate, but what else do you expect him to say? Why stir up any internal controversy over a stupid hypothetical question? p.s. Brady would have died behind our line this year, and or thrown the ball away 20 times a game. I am glad Beane didn't take the bait.
  9. I don't think so, just a bit of self-promotion. Not unusual in my opinion.
  10. I don't think you'll get much argument on this board on that one. As far as early round targets, I like Jefferson, but that is just a personal preference thing. I have not watched Shenault play, but there seems to be a lot of buzz for him around here, so I am looking forward to seeing more.
  11. A) He hasn’t done it yet, so reserve your respect until warranted B) Unless he goes somewhere with a top 5 Offensive Line, he will likely fail at proving anything other than he’s getting old.
  12. I agree, unfortunately. I think he will be our pick at #22
  13. Major shift? No, I am sure they will continue cheating... That being said, if Brady left, which I don't believe he will, and they lost a few games early, it is a possibility.
  14. Tom Brady: "I know I still have more to prove". Does this mean the gender reveal is coming soon?
  15. This seems like a good place to put this. Now we get to look forward to more strange outfits that his wife makes him wear. ?
  16. To the surprise of absolutely no one. I hope he stays with the Patriots* and continues to regress at a rapid pace.
  17. Not that I want the Browns to get it right, but they really should be targeting Greg Roman as their HC. Not only would his offense make Mayfield better overnight, it would also weaken the Ravens, which should be appealing to them.
  18. I agree 100%. My current fixation is Justin Jefferson from LSU. I am hoping for RB Najee Harris in round 3 as well. Those 2 would completely alter our Offense over-night.
  19. Wow, I didn't realize Hill was that fast. One thing for sure, he is very fun to watch play. Talk about a guy who puts it all on the line for his team... And I agree with you, zero point zero zero chance the Saints would let him go. He is a true spark plug for that team.
  20. They said something interesting during the Saints play off game. Apparently Sean Payton originally wanted Tim Tebow to come to the Saints and play the same role that Taysom Hill is playing now, but Tebow wanted to be a QB only so didn’t sign. Too bad actually. Tebow is such a good athlete, he would have done really well in the Taysom Hill role. I guess he underestimated the impact he could have...
  21. Agreed, but unless I am wrong, all head coaches are typically categorized as Defensive-minded or Offensive-minded. I understand that they ultimately need to focus on the all 3 phases, just thought it was interesting that I usually think of a coach as one or the other. I guess the fact that a "special-teams" coach was hired as a head coach got me thinking about this...
  22. In other words, we always talk about coaches as being either an Offensive minded coach or a Defensive minded coach. Such as: McDermott. - Defense Andy Reid. - Offense John Harbaugh - Defense Sean McVay. - Offense Bruce Arians - Offense Kyle Shanahan - Offense Matt Patricia - Defense Etc, etc... This got me thinking, do all head coaches typically fall into one category or the other, or are there coaches who are just considered "football guys" without really having a focus one way or the other? The closest that I can think of is Belichick, who started as a Defensive guy but seems to be known for his Offensive strategy now as well. This also got me thinking that Buffalo seems to almost always choose Defensive minded Head coaches, except for maybe Marv Levy who I believe was Offense, but I am honestly not sure.
