For the most part that is true, but just because Sanchez did it doesn't mean Allen isn't a good QB. I have context. I watched those games and frankly saw him make plays in some of those drives that very few QB's in the league could make. Does he make head scratchingly bad plays sometimes too? Sure, he is a second year QB. BUT, using the context that I have, watching those comebacks, I believe he is an above average QB, with the potential to be elite. Those comebacks were not a statistical anomaly, they were by and large the result of Allen making great plays and his teammates rallying behind him because of his ability.
-
Seriously? He had an NFL leading 5 game winning drives last year. (tied with Watson and Wilson) I am sure the detractors will claim that we shouldn't have been behind in the first place, but reality is we won several games because of him last season, not in spite of... I respectfully disagree with your take.

Ha! Maybe that is why I posted this, I am seeking validation. I have watched every snap Allen has taken as a pro, not to mention every practice throw I can find, etc. and I am very excited about his potential as a pro. I know he has flaws and areas that he will need to keep improving, but I rank him closer to where you just did. That's why I took note of DO ranking him below an injured rookie. I wonder if I am a homer with blinders on.
-
I know these rankings don't mean anything at all, but until the season starts, we have nothing better to talk about. This is ridiculous. He ranked Darnold number 1, Tua at #2! then Allen and then Stidham. How the hell can you rank Tua higher than Allen after everything he accomplished so far? I am fine with him favoring Darnold right now, even though I disagree, but come on! Tua? We are getting a lot of love right now from the media, so this isn't a media bashing thread, just a statement at how bad Orlovsky's take is. He seems to have an agenda against Josh Allen, which he continues to attribute to "inaccuracy".

This is why players should live in Buffalo. Instead of calling the cops on him, someone would have driven him home to make sure he got there safely...

I say we call him Diesel. Motor and Diesel make a great 1-2 punch. -
Check out this collison by Zack Moss.

Yeah, that 4 minute drill video was very encouraging. We all have bad memories of us playing with a lead and letting it slip away. If he can run out a clock in the NFL, like he did in college, it will be a joy to watch. (and we will all eventually learn how to relax when we are winning in the 4th Quarter) -

His highlights are fun to watch. I love watching football! -
Inability to keep himself inn football shape is the first one that comes to mind. That one likely leads to others, such as failing to follow coaches instructions, lack of maturity, etc...

He had more issues that just smoking weed in my opinion. I am not saying he shouldn’t get a shot, I’m just quibbling over the word “deserves”. I’ve not seen enough evidence yet to show he had put in the work and matured to the point to deserve it.
-
Deserves? Not really in my opinion. That being said, if he truly earns another shot, I wouldn’t be opposed to it. Preferably not with the Bills though. We are good at RB.

And his wife or a girlfriend to that list. She was clearly enabling his stupid decisions and making excuses for him, which mage things worse.

Who shows up out of shape?

Final result of the Marcel Dareus trade for Buffalo:

Is it really the end? In 3 years, after impressing in relief for Josh Allen the past couple of seasons, Beane will trade the highly sought after Jake Fromm for a 1st and a 4th, in order to re-fuel the roster for a run at our second Super Bowl. There is no end to this story...
