  1. Cause we may draft one? I have seen Kenneth Grant mocked to us multiple times.
  2. Easy to disappear when you are taking on multiple blockers. Pressure up the middle would be great if he helps us get it. for what it’s worth, my Steeler fan friend said “great get with Ogunjobi! He can still play at a high level. Was a cost savings cut unfortunately”.
  3. Really?! I thought he looked pretty good for a rookie, before he got dinged up.
  4. That is nice and all, but what nationality is your thank you?
  5. He is not a just veteran version of Coleman. He is a very good route runner, and a man coverage beater. He was 8th best in the league vs man coverage last year. Coleman was the best on our team at 54th. Our win rate against man was awful, which is why we saw so much of it. He is just what Josh Allen needs, which is why we were willing to pay a premium. ps, He was number 10 in win rate vs any coverage, our best was Amari Cooper at 61st. He has a skill set that we need.
  6. I agree. But you can’t deny that improving our run defense was a need as well.
  7. This video is a good breakdown of his potential fit in Buffalo. They said he was ranked in the top 20 in run defense for all edge rushers last year, out of 211 eligible players. That is exactly what we need. His pass rush is a bonus.
  8. So were Louis Riddick and Dan Orlovsky, for what it's worth. They compared him to Chris Olave and Chris Godwin as a route runner. I like that kind of upside.
  9. De-Fense! clap clap De-Fense! clap clap… pass rush and secondary please.
  10. What?!? Don’t get me wrong, we need an elite level pass rusher, but not at this cost for a guy his age. (2 of our better young players).
  11. Absolutely. But someone will give him more.
  12. Man, what do you have against poor Reid Ferguson?
  13. I am glad he got that extra season of NFL money from the Jags. That said, I am glad he is retiring now, so as not to risk any more concussions.
  14. Or Cleveland's replacement for Garrett.
  15. I just read the entire thread all at once. Quite the roller coaster ride.
  16. Thanks for the effort you put into this OP. I would be happy if the draft went this way. (need to learn more about Swinson, but I like what I've heard so far.)
  17. And there was much rejoicing. I love this signing. Great start by Beane.
  18. just imagine how well their son will grip a football...
  19. I wouldn’t say that Sawyer “did little” in his college career, I would say he progressively improved throughout his 4 years at Ohio State. 23 career sacks, culminating with 9 in his senior year. He improved statistically every season. Definitely not a Bosa, or there would be zero chance that he is available at the end of the first round, or possibly even early second. I feel as though he has plenty of room for growth and would not be surprised to see him move up the draft board between now and April.
  20. When I saw the thread topic, I came here to say Jack Sawyer. Glad to see I did not have to scroll very far to find the first mention. I have a really good feeling about him. He is the type of player that seems to make an impact above and beyond his physical tools. Watching him play at Ohio State, he gave strong Aidan Hutchinson vibes.
  21. I don't know much about Donovan Ezeiruaku (yet) but I absolutely believe we need a pass rusher with our first pick, whether we use it in the draft, or in a trade. Personally, I am a big fan of Jack Sawyer, DE from Ohio State. I watched him in a few games this year, and he gave strong Aidan Hutchinson vibes. He seems like the kind of player that has a knack for making big plays. I see him currently rated as a late first, early second round guy. I have a gut feeling that he will be the real deal.
