I'm not trying to compare Izzy to Rivera. I totally agree that Mariano is a better closer by a LONG WAY. I still hate using closers for two innings. Tonight both St. Louis and Houston used theirs for 3. Could be an issue tomorrow.

Thank you, it will be a good game for all the marbles, considering being down 3-2 I'm a lot happier now that we have game 7 at home then I was today with our backs to the wall.

I'm not a big fan of leaving closers in for 2 full innings. Tonight Izzy got touched up in the 9th and almost blew it for us. That's probably why Gordon pitched the 8th.

Ortiz is locked in along the similar line that Beltran is for Houston. That guy is on fire........

Yep, and if you read my last post in that thread I have posted links to other threads that were started earlier in the day bashing my team. They contain posts from Yankees fans as well as fans of other teams. So as you asked, why would Yankees fans be so concerned with my team before their game yesterday???

POOJER in that situation though all he is going to do is get called for interference. He's out AND Jeter goes back to first base. That hurts worse then him just grounding out.
