That honor would probably go to the 1970 Baltimore Colts.

Deep what?

Actually that doesn't hold water. The ratings in Detroit were certain to be higher than in Miami where sports aren't exactly "the thing to do".
See I notice that instead of providing facts to debate my theory, you try to deny it being possible. Check the NBA Finals ratings the last decade. The years that teams like Indiana and NJ got in the ratings suck. You get two teams like Philly and LA and they are the best in a decade. I can provide these numbers ifyou would like, but I'm certain you don't want to view them because they prove my theory to be possible.

That won't be the last time it happens. Mark my words. Someone else will go into the stands. Just like Kermit Washingtons suspension was susposed to end the on court fighting huh? Here we are 25 years later and fights still break out at NBA games.

Why you try to tell me all the time that the NBA wouldn't "rig games"?
Explain to me the following
How is it possible for a player to catch the ball, double clutch it on the way up, and shoot a jumper in .7 seconds?
How is it possible for someone to make a turnaround jumper on a catch and shoot in .4 seconds?
And how is it possible for a player to be fouled on the floor, take two dribbles, shoot the ball and get a chance for a four point play?
The first instance was Michael Jordan against the Pacers in the '98 Conference Finals (he missed the shot by the way)
The second is The Lakers-Spurs game from last year when Fischer performed a catch and shoot in .4 of a second.
The third is Larry Johnson in the '99 Conference Finals against the Pacers.
One thing in common for ALL those teams. BIG MARKETS.
BIG MARKETS=BETTER TV RATINGS
BETTER TV RATINGS=MORE MONEY
Yeah the NBA would rig games, and it's easy to do, the easiest of any sport.

I didn't say he shouldn't be suspended for what he did. Just not for as long as he got. That suspension changed an entire season of NBA basketball.

Bottom line, Gavin speaks the truth, no matter what you say Darin.

Nope. The 49er's were up 20-0 at halftime and the Bengals scored a late TD (with 14 seconds left I believe) to cut it to 5. They didn't get the onside kick and it was over.
The 49er's did have a goal line stand up 20-7 in the third quarter that could have made a difference though. Bengals came away with nothing.

I stand corrected, but still a close game. The Bengals had their chances and were not outclassed.
If the Niners are excused for allowing Cincinnati to make a comeback, I don't think NE should be penalized for the same thing. IIRC, it's the Bengals that were trying to come back to win 28-26 but couldn't score.
The Bengals scored with I believe 14 seconds left to make it 26-21. They never held the ball with a chance to win.
