Ed doesn't even know what he looks like. He can't drag himself away from the computer long enough to look at his mirror. I'm proud of myself and someone like Ed (especially someone like Ed) isn't going to make me feel any less about myself.

Oh that picture again huh? I was proud to have had it taken when you showed it last night and I'm equally proud today. See that's what usually happens Ed when you leave your house and your computer. You meet people. You get your picture taken. You know, you have a social life? You seem seriously deprived of one.

By ignoring the fact that she was provoked first Steve, you are saying that's ok but her taking offense to it is not. She has every right to stick up for herself. That's about all there is to it.

The biggest thing he has is the vision and patience to get into holes that aren't there when the snap occurs. Travis is just a straight ahead guy, if there is a hole he hits it, if not he goes down with no gain. When Willis DOES get that speed back he will only get better.

I don't like bringing the Oakland game into it because we were down 13-3 and got a late TD that didn't make much difference. We didn't hold the lead late or anything. Even taking that into account however, the other two games we should have won would put us at 5-3 instead of 3-5. I know I would be feeling a whole lot better about this team at 5-3, that's for sure.

Yes I know this stat. I think he is a better reciever and picks up the blitz better. Those two things also help.

The biggest reason for the turnaround on offense and for Willis' success is simple. Willis adds the big play to the running game. It's nice to have a guy like Henry who will get you 4 yards a pop, but he never breaks a big one. Running backs don't get enough carries in a game so they need to break 1 or 2 big runs durring a game to help a drive. Travis just doesn't bring that to the offense. In a normal drive it will go something like this. Incomplete pass Travis run for 4 Incomplete pass With a guy like Willis in the lineup you will see more plays like this. Willis 14 yard run. If you put that 14 yarder in the middle of those two incomplete passes that is an extra down. With Travis gaining 4 instead of the 14 that Willis may be able to get you that's a punt. Not sure this will make sense to anybody but I'm trying to explain as clearly as I can.

MDH what's funny is that I wasn't even referring to you for the most part. Your first few replies were alright. Not really helpful but not as crude and rude as some of the others. I don't need to write any sort of paper about flaming. If someone flames me I defend myself, if not I don't usually go looking to get into it with someone. It's just that simple. Just like real life, try to avoid confrontation but if presented with it, stick up for yourself.

Have you ever seen me attack someone on here that asks for help on a homework assignment? I didn't think so. Do I do it for other reasons from time to time? Of course I do.

OK let me simplify this so maybe you can better understand where I'm coming from. Would you agree that our offense has been more effective the last few weeks when playing a short field? On the other side of the 50 after a turnover or big return? I'm sure you would agree. We put up 20 today on offense and 38 last week by playing with a short field. A TOP NOTCH defense gives this to their teams every week. Grays defense has not done this on a regular basis in 4 years. Why do you think we wanted to ditch Gray and hire LeBeau this offseason?

Let me ask you a question. In 2000 The Baltimore Ravens did not have the #1 defense in the NFL. The Titans did. Gregg Williams would be the first to tell you that. Now if given a choice, which defense would you rather have had? Baltimore or Tennessee? I choose Baltimore. Their defense WON GAMES FOR THEM SINGLEHANDEDLY. Jerry Gray has coached a defense that has not even come close to doing that in his 4 years here. Saying we have the number 2 defense means squart to me. I want PLAYMAKERS not doorstops.

I argue with people about stuff like the Bills or the St. Louis Cardinals or something that isn't really a big deal. Running someone off the board when they ask for help on a homework assignment is a lot different MDH. The two don't even compare. You want to know the type of stuff I'm talking about that goes a little too far? People running others away because they asked for help. People having quotes in their signature lines that make fun of other people. I could keep going but I won't, I have a feeling it's falling on a deaf ear.

You want to know the biggest difference? Yeah there has always been fighting and bickering, but the majority of people behaved. There's tons more then there ever was back in the late '90's. It comes with having a larger community, unfortunately bigger is not always better.

I'm not ignoring the Jets being a good team. I have stated several times today that we beat a good team and it was a solid win. They are and it was. I just notice Jerry Gray will make 2 or 3 calls throughout the game evey week that are just horrible and always at the worst time. Remember when we played NE? We blitzed NE all day and Brady torched us. Who is the one quarterback in the ENTIRE LEAGUE you don't want to blitz? Tom Brady. Some of his gameplans are just terrible and I already discussed his play calling above.

I think it's been more then just one call that has led me to say something like he needs to go. I'm not that irrational. I must have let Greggo screw up 100 times before I called for him to get fired. He just seems very clueless with his calls sometimes. The call doesn't match the situation.

Willis is the best back we've had in a long long time.
