Way to go Tom. Your self esteem must be SKYROCKETING!!!!
-
For everyone saying it was his Assistants. I just have to ask one thing. Who hired them? You will only be as good as the people you put around you.
-
What was unfair about the way he was run out of town? His record was 17-31. If you don't count the first year he was 14-18. That's hardly worthy of a contract extension. You want to hear someone that got run out of town unfairly? Wade Phillips. He was 29-19 with two playoff trips. What happened to him was unfair. What happened to Williams is EXACTLY what should have happened to him. You know the difference between the results of GW and MM? Mike is in his first season as head coach and even at 3-5 looks like he knows more about what's going on then Williams EVER did. I think those were nice comments by Willis towards Williams, but in reality everyone knew Willis couldn't play last year. What would WILLIAMS have gained by throwing Willis out there when he couldn't play? Nothing. I will grant you that he had Willis and his best interest in mind, but also his own.
-
Well let's see, that got posted about 10 seconds after he made the one of the stupidest defensive play calls I've ever seen as a Bills fan. If the Bills had lost, there would have been 100 people agreeing with me.
-
How would you call me a flip flopper? In a sense it's the same thing as a TFF. If they win I'll praise them, they lose I rip them. I'm not going to praise the team when they go out and get their asses kicked. Sorry.
-
Good for you Tom. 20 minutes into a new day you can feel like a better person for have chided in with your "BF insult of the day." Good for you.
-
Who said I have you on ignore?
-
I whole heartedly understand the difference between millitary action and a thug. There's no point of arguing about it. We are just fortunate not to live in that area of the world and deal with it every day. I just take offense to someone calling me an anti-semite because I disagree with the actions of one man who happens to be of the jewish faith. I'm sure you can agree with me on that point at least. A good day to you GG. We can agree to respectfully disagree yes?
-
Actually I think Harry Truman is a good comparison to this. And yes I think we should have dropped those bombs.

It will be Weis v. Gray on Sunday
BF_in_Indiana replied to Fake-Fat Sunny's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I would put my money on Weis. -
Have I told you I don't care what the hell you think about me? If I haven't, I have now. I don't care. You know, it's funny. Guys like you or Tom or whoever sit around all day and throw insults my way expecting them to do something other then make me laugh. This is the INTERNET. Like I'm going to take offense to an insult towards me that is probably coming from someone sitting at their computer in their underwear eating their 5th bag of Dorritos of the night while surfing for porno. Not that I'm saying you are that person, but I think you get the overall point I'm trying to make here. IT'S THE INTERNET, who cares what someone types onto a computer screen.

This is why you can't argue about this stuff with a lot of people. I have CLEARLY stated that Arafat was a scumbag and I'm glad he's dead. I however choose not to ignore the fact that Ariel Shron is also a terrorist thug in the same vain as Arafat and then along comes someone like you without anything to say other then "You are an Anti-semite.". If I'm not mistaken (I could be) GG is jewish. I have no problems with GG. In fact I respect his point of view. I don't care if one person agrees with my point of view on this, that's fine. I'm allowed to have a point of view. It doesn't mean I'm a hater of all jewish people. I hate George Bush. Does that mean I hate everyone from the south? No.
-
No he isn't, he looks like an idiot.
-
The first thing was a typo. I didn't even notice it. I wasn't trying to offend you, I'm just stating fact. You resufe to discuss that point because you know I'm right. Yes there was a war going on, however a little restraint is possible even in a time of war. I'm not sure the United States has destroyed that much civilian property in the two years they have been in Iraq. Finally, that is not a bad thing. It's a good thing. It was just part of the quote. You see, unlike some others, I don't skew facts. I will leave that in there because it's fact, they got rid of 140 terrorists.
-
So what you are saying then is if that Osama puts down his gun tomorrow and signs a peace pact with Israel then he's no longer a terrorist? Is that what you are trying to say here? It sure sounds like it. So am I. I certainly am not a fan of Arafat either.
-
Say what you want about the Haganah, but they were responsible for thousands of deaths in the region in the 1940's. Of course you won't. You know that I'm correct in this case so the easiest thing for you to do (just like you always do) is to call me an idiot and run away saying you are too smart to explain something to me. While I'm on a hit parade today, let's go over another great Sharon accomplishment. After being named the head of the IDF Southen Commande in 1969.......... "In August 1971 alone, troops under Mr Sharon's command destroyed some 2,000 homes in the Gaza Strip, uprooting 12,000 people [Palestinian refugees] for the second time in their lives. Hundreds of young Palestinian men were arrested and deported to Jordan and Lebanon. Six hundred relatives of suspected guerrillas were exiled to Sinai. In the second half of 1971, 104 guerrillas were assassinated." This guy is a SAINT I tell you. LOL I can't believe anyone with half a brain would try to defend this man.
-
Oh let's not forget the forced exodous of 160,000 Palestinians. We don't want to leave that out.
-
Those instances are not the same. Not even close. George Bush (for as much as I dislike him) has used the United States Millitary in operations against Osama bin Laden with the utmost respect towards not injuring or killing Afghan civilians. Under Sharon the Israeli military has been involved in the large scale eradication of Palestinian civilians. What makes Sharon so different then the Palestinian "terrorists". When he was 14 he joined Haganah. That was a "terrorist" organization opposing British rule in case you didn't know this. What makes him any different than bin Laden in that regard or Arafat? It's all about public perception. In the eyes of the United States or any nation, a person is defined as a terrorist or a freedom fighter based on the target. If the target is you or one of your interests you call the opposition a terrorist. If the target is an enemy of the nation then you have a freedom fighter.
-
Did you read what I said? I said Arafat should burn in hell as well. Yes I know his history. He was a terrorist supporter no doubt about it. All I said is that I can't wait until Sharon is burning in hell with him. Care to research HIS history?

(OT) Cheektowaga Woman Qualifies For PBA Event
BF_in_Indiana replied to Mark VI's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
They must be doing PBA events a little differently now. It used to be a combination of match play results and qualifying scores combined to get you on TV. It sounds like they have a tournament now with the last few matches on TV. Women bowling with men is becoming a big issue. ABC (American Bowling Congress) is planning a merger with WIBC (Womens International Bowling Congress). -
You do know the history between these two correct? Sharon is no angel. I hope he burns in hell right alongside Arafat.
-
Her actual comments hold a little merit Darin. He made a comment durring the NLCS before game 3. It was something like "If I don't win tomorrow someone is going to die out there.". Someone is going to die out there? It's baseball. I can appreciate his love for the game, but comparing baseball with death is just a joke.

I love how you guys totally try to deny the fact that Tony had a legitimate case to the award because you don't like the fact that I pull heavily for my team. This is not blind loyalty. This is just fact. Tony deserved the award.
-
Hopefully his Israeli counterpart is soon to follow.
-
Directly from Bobby Cox himself. At least he admits it. "I thought Tony deserved it, to be honest,'' Cox said. ``I would be more than happy to split that trophy and have both our names on it.''
