  1. That section of Cincy is very nice, you guys could probably see the Great American Ballpark from Paul Brown Stadium. When I went to the Reds/Cards game over the summer Paul Brown Stadium looked nice from where I was standing near the Reds park.
  2. It's like this, we haven't even seen a playoff game in 5 years, and I want to get in any way possible. It increases our chances if Pittsburgh isn't at full strength. Tonight win helped on several levels. 1. Indy may have something to play for in week 17 now. 2. NE will come out fighting against NY next week. 3. Pittsburgh will REALLY come out fighting next week. 4. Miami is still playing hard, we might need them against Baltimore. I'm all for anything that helps the Bills down the road, and tonights game does.
  3. I was able to get 20 on them at 18-1 to win the AFC and another 20 to win the Super Bowl at 35-1. That was in May though.
  4. THIS IS PERFECT!!!! Now NE has to win next week and Pittsburgh can play a little harder against Baltimore. They beat the Ravens and then they don't give us their best.
  5. Too complex huh? I think it's stated very nicely.
  6. Congratulations Ed!! You have her trained nicely
  7. No, the Jets aren't in, in fact if Buffalo and NY tie at 10-6 we win out over them.
  8. You sir are correct. I misread. Well that sucks I was trying to give us more hope here, LOL.
  9. I just have to correct you on something here. The Bills don't need the Broncos to lose anymore games either. The tiebreakers go like this. 1. Head to Head (didn't play) 2. Division record (both 3-3) 3. Common Opponents (Buffalo is 3-2 against common Denver opponents, Denver is 2-3) and neither play any common opponents the rest of the year. So Buffalo is in fact sitting like this right now. NY 10-4 Jacksonville 8-6 Baltimore 8-6 Buffalo 8-6 Denver 8-6 In reality it comes down to this. If Baltimore and Jacksonville lose next week, the Bills control their own destiny. Right now on NFL.com we are seeded behind Denver because of the multi way tie, but the head to head tie breaker works just like I posted above. So the two teams in front of us have to lose anyway for us to get in because they both beat us head to head, and if they do then the tie breaker becomes head to head with us and Denver. We win the tie breaker. So our hopes are a little better than we had thought.
  10. The Texans are 6-8. There isn't a whole lot of difference a lot of times between an 8-6 and a 6-8 team. Jacksonville won a game against us they should not have, one against Denver they shouldn't have, and one against Tennessee that they shouldn't have. They could easily be 5-9.
  11. I remember people saying to cut him when he got pissed at Jerry Gray. It appears Sam was the one who was right doesn't it?
  12. They are pitiful, that's for sure. I bet Arizona is kicking themslves, hell if they beat the 49er's instead of getting swept they would be in the playoff hunt
  13. Yeah seeing as how I've done that "so many times".
  14. What we need this week in the NFC is Seattle to lose and St. Louis to win. That ensures the Rams play hard in week 17 against NY. NE should beat NY this coming week which sets up the game with St. Louis in Week 17.
  15. Well it doesn't matter what teams we play, we have no choice but to win. Same with Denver. I have a feeling the NFL playoff teams are glad we might not get in, we are playing the best of any of the teams that are fighting to get in now.
  16. Jacksonville has one of the most pathetic offenses in the league. Houston is no longer a pushover and Oakland is playing great lately. I think they lose one of the next two if not BOTH. They have a lot of young players in the playoff chase for the first time. I don't see them winning out. I think the Bills have a good shot at getting in. I think Denver loses to the Titans this weekend and I think Baltimore loses as well. Jacksonville then becomes the only team standing in the way of the playoffs.
  17. Mulder does not have a history of injuries. He missed the end of last year, but that's it if memory serves me correctly. I don't know much about Hudsons injury history, but I do know that Mulder has been injury free for most of his career.
  18. I must have gotten you fired up!!!!
  19. 33-10 looks real nice to me 8-6 baby!!!!!
  20. So this guy has pitched 5 years and because he has had one bad second half he has "lost it". Come on.
  21. Oh I loved that TKO pick. It was the highlight of the first half to me.
  22. Hey 27-10 looks good with about 10 beers in you
  23. An exciting first half of football and drinking.
  24. St. Louis needs to win NOW. The pieces are there. I'm tired of waiting, it's been 22 years already and we needed a pitcher like Mulder to get it done. Barton is at least 2 years away (mayber 3, hell he's only 19). Calero will be replaced by Ankiel and Harren is ready now. In reality this deal was Mulder for Harren and Mulder is only 26 himself so I'm fine with it. I would like to see us sign Cabrerra and go after another pitcher. Millwood would be alright if he gets his head on straight again.
  25. I don't think he's that good. Mulder could easily win the N.L Cy Young award with our offense behind him. I bet you he goes like 22-5 or something.
