Well I'm always willing to back things up if asked, and I do not think he is a good NFL QB. I was a big Drew supporter until this season. Mike Mularkey was able to make Kordell Stewart play like a top NFL QB and Drew has a great coaching staff around him now, I'm just not sure I saw a lot of improvement from him over the course of the season. This weeks game was typical Drew. He did not give him team a chance to win through his bonehead mistakes and bad throws. If you are playing the Bengals, Browns, Cardinals, or 49er's he's lights out, but put a real defense on the field with him and he's a no show.

If Eric Moulds is willing to redo his deal, than I am glad he will be staying. He's not an 8 million a year player however.

I think you make some very good points actually Bill, but his troubles started well before he got to Buffalo. I think he was like 17-19 or something in his last couple seasons with New England and he's 23-25 with the Bills. His career record is right around .500. He's been on some bad teams (2002 and '03 here) but he's also been on some very good ones too and always seemed to come up short when it counts. I don't really base my opinion on a quarterback with stats. If we did that Rob Johnson could be considered a good QB. We both know he's not. The little things are what are important. Tom Brady isn't as physically gifted as Drew is but Tom Brady does the little things so much better than Drew and those things lead to wins. The little things Drew does wrong lead to losses.

Drew is 28-68 against winning teams in his career. He is 23-25 overall in Buffalo. Fez, what is it going to take for you to agree that this guy is not a good NFL quarterback???

Well considering he was a senior, I'm pretty sure that's going to happen.

They had the option (and I'm fine with this) of kicking a field goal. 51-10 is just as good as 55-10.

I have to ask something, how is it a crusade when most of the posts at least show some stats to back up the claims? Yeah it would be nice if we had a "Drew Bledsoe sucks" thread and kept it in there, but let's face it, 85 percent of the people here know what the real problem with this team is and we are tired of seeing it repeated over and over. It was in the 4th quarter. The game was over and they had already made their point. They could have kicked a field goal to go up 51-10 but they went for it. I'm sorry, but I have never seen Bob Stoops go for it on 4th down in the fourth quarter of a blow out. If you are up 63-0 and hand it off on first and 10 and your guy goes for a TD there is nothing you can do about that, you aren't going to tell your backups not to score, but going for it when you should be kicking a field goal is just classless and typical Pete.

The scary thing is, I think USC was a better team LAST YEAR. I think they would have dominated LSU or Oklahoma last year.

I've hated him since that game in New England where we got hosed and walked off the field and he went for two points without the defense contesting it out of protest and then he tried to claim that the extra point might come into play in a tie breaker situation. I have no doubt in my mind that USC would have beaten either LSU or OU last season after seeing the difference in these teams tonight. USC has been the best team in America for two years now.
