Well if they cut Drew and bring in Holcomb (the former I can see happening) then I would be fine with an open competition in camp, but I have a feeling J.P would beat him out. The upside on J.P is unbelieveable.

Well that is fine, but he's not a guy that's going to take us any further than Bledsoe. He's alright, but Bledsoe is "alright".

Kelly Holcomb is not a guy I want brought in here to replace Bledsoe. I would rather see J.P start this year.

I think the only question that needs to be asked when deciphering the situation is this. Does Drew give us something that an average QB couldn't? If you answer that with a no then cutting Drew is the best answer if he doesn't take a paycut.

It's not a situation that's hard to fathom. The reasons for this are quite simple. A 6.5 million a year quarterback needs to be a playmaker. Drew is not a playmaker. He's not really even asked to be one. Our team is now built around Willis McGahee and a controlled passing game. If TD believes he can get 20 TD's and 15 interceptions out of J.P for less then he will cut Drew and go with J.P or another cheaper veteran. Drew has not proven to be worth almost 7 million a year. For what you get from Drew he's about a 2.5-3 million a year QB. I hope Drew doesn't take the paycut. It would be a good day for the Bills if he hit the unemployment line.

Pittsburgh is going to get mauled next week no matter who they play. If they play the Colts it's going to be ugly. Man did they look pathetic today.

Well that's Bob's fault. He had a bit of a temper problem. IU has brought in more talent since he left (we are struggling with a bunch of talented freshman) and we are going to be a major force again soon. Purdue has hit rock bottom.

Well most IU basketball fans (other than those at IU or living in Bloomington) don't really care about the football rivalry. It's a basketball state!!!! And IU whipped Purdue again!!!! At least I won't have to see Keady and his rug on the sideline anymore after this year.

That was at the end of the first overtime. IU messed up bad. Strickland should have missed the second free throw and they would have had to heave a shot up from full court. Instead they got to call time out and set up that play. It looked like the '72 Olympics. I went from excited to pissed to excited in about the course of 10 minutes Great game, it will probably land on ESPN Classic.

I said those weren't bad changes. The split with Diamond Dave wasn't as bad as them firing Sammy and hiring GARY CHERONE!!! I like Van Halen 3 actually, but it was a total flop and Cherone didn't fit the band at all.
