  1. While it's a team game and I don't really try to root for individual players over the team, I think that move is best for the Buffalo Bills as a football team and organization. I think we may take a step back this year but for the long haul this is the right move. I wonder why Sue didn't like RJ? We had the same problems we did then that we do now. Maybe RJ was a good QB??? LOL
  2. Rob Johnson looked like Joe Montana in training camp. Drew usually looks like Unitas in camp. Josh Reed is the next Jerry Rice in August. What I'm trying to say here is that we will never know what he has until he plays real live NFL football. The longer he waits the more of the talent we have leaves. Let's get him in there now so he's either ready to win by 2006 or at least ready to play better than Drew.
  3. I disagree. Bledsoe had a full compliment of talent to work with this year. We have a very good defense, a good running game, and the best special teams in the NFL (not counting Lindell). The Bills are better than a 9-7 football team. Next year we may take a step backwards with J.P but if he plays next year at least by 2006 he's probably ready to be a player. If he stays on the bench he might be ready in 2007 to be a good player, and by the time this current group will probably be a lot different. Let's try to win with a future instead of breaking even with the present.
  4. Illinois will be gone in the round of 16. Indiana and Michigan both gave them some trouble and both of those teams suck. IU lost by a decent margain but they gave them trouble throughout the game defensively. I hope IU can get to the NIT at least.
  5. Well if the reports were true about last week being the deadline I would say that they might be making progress and extended that deadline until Monday or Tuesday of next week.
  6. That would be the best possible scenario for the rest of the NFL.
  7. 1964 was a very important year in American history. Actually just about every year in the '60's was.
  8. I have a pretty good feeling it's not going to take him long either.
  9. I just saw a photo of those. THAT'S HILLARIOUS!!!!! Wow how society and culture have changed.
  10. What are go go boots??? Maybe I'm a little behind the times here, but I'm young.
  11. A family crisis is. The well being of your grandfather would be yes?
  12. No actually I've got a lot more important things on my mind. A LOT more.
  13. Did I mention that I'm listening to Bob Marley?
  14. I kind of have a funny story about an Eagle fan I ran into at Wal Mart probably a half hour after the Super Bowl. Now keep in mind this is Indiana and I'm one of maybe 3 Bills fans in my area and probably the only real serious one. Anyways, I'm walking through Wal Mart and I kind of glanced down the magazine aisle and out of the corner of my eye I see this guy with an Eagles bandana and an OLD Eagles shirt. He was probably in his late 20's, so I did a double take as I walked past and then went back and said something to him. He said it made him just want to cry. He looked at my Bills shirt and said "You know the feeling huh?" I told him I knew the feeling all too well and we got to talking about how winning the conference doesn't mean a thing once you lose the Super Bowl. I told him he would feel better and that Philly would be back next year and I went on my way. It was just so funny to find an Eagles fan right after they lost who was obviously a real fan and to see the pain on his face. He looked so out of it. I felt bad for him because I know how it feels.
  15. I got into the Bills in 1990 when I was first starting to watch the NFL on a serious basis. So yeah, I was a bandwagon fan, but I'm still here. A lot of kids pick their teams like that, some stay, some move on to the next team.
  16. He did ya one better. He threw 4 in Super Bowl XXXI.
  17. He probably wanted to see Janet show her stupid tit........
  18. Philly will be back for more next year, I'll almost guarantee it. Actually if I had to bet on a Super Bowl champion next year, I'd take Philly.
  19. I took Philly to cover the spread and the reason being, New England isn't a team that is going to blow everyone they face out of the water. They have a good, but not a dominate offense, and a defense that is very opportunistic. They are always in close games, but they find ways to win them because they do the little things right.
  20. Well the NFL as a WHOLE isn't what it used to be as far as talent, but the Patriots as a team do so many things so well. People called Miami a dynasty, the first Super Bowl team they had beat the worst combined batch of opponents for a Super Bowl Champion ever, but no one would debate how great they were.
  21. I sure would like to "eek" one out. Wouldn't you?
  22. Congratulations T-Bone. The Pats are a deserving champion. I hate them but they are damn good.
  23. I can't say I agree with that (totally). They beat two very good teams in their 3 Super Bowl appearances. St. Louis and PhillY were both very good teams. The Patriots could have played with teams from any era.
  24. I totally agree, it was the best halftime that I can remember, that's for sure. I loved hearing Live and Let Die, that's one of my favorite songs by ANY artist.
  25. For all the abuse T.0 takes from the media and opposing fans, he steps up before he talks. He delivers and THEN he tells you how great he is. Contrast that with Freddie Mitchell who tells everyone how great he is and then doesn't show up. I feel bad for T.0, he's my favorite non Bills and has been for a long time.
