    No, what I'm saying is that that category is worthless. So what if he has 20 or 30 negative runs a year? He breaks that many 20+ yard runs to make up for it.

    You know that Barry Sanders used to lead the league in that category right? Also let me ask you, how many 3rd and shorts did he make for us? You aren't gonna make them all. Willis is the best offensive football player we have. We are lacking a lineman or two and a TE to make this offense really work.

    He is just basically saying what I and others said this year. We looked good on offense due to a lot of variables. The defense created a short field and a lot of other things came into play. It's obvious the braintrust had no confidence in Drew at all.

    J.P gives us a better shot to beat New England for years to come. Drew never gave us a shot to beat them. We beat them 1 time I believe in his time here. That was the 31-0 game in 2003 when New England was still in shock over Milloy. Their heads weren't in that game at all.

    I'm still having visions of that horrible INT he threw in garbage time. Wasn't it to Bruschi?

    He is being cut now BECAUSE he lost that game to Cowher and Pittsburgh. That was Donahoe and Mularkeys Super Bowl and Drew couldn't get them past a bunch of third stringers. If that had been another team with another coach than maybe he stays for one more year after a 6 game winning streak, but that was the straw that broke the camels back.

    I shudder to think about what is going to happen when J.P goes into Foxboro this fall. I'm glad Bledsoe is going but I certainly have my doubts about 2005.

    Didn't any of you catch the REAL big news in the Buckhalter article? CARL MAUCK is the new line coach for SD. Man they must have enjoyed losing better.

    Mom and I had a guy with a Fiedler fins jersey sitting around us at the 'Phins game this year.

    While I hate Fiedler, I think he's got more to work with here if he were to come and be a backup than he did in Miami. The sad thing is, I'd probably be more confident in him than I would have been in Drew.

    Ron White is the funniest of the group. I didn't think his new material was as good as the older stuff he has, but he's great.
