Why do I want to pay 1 cent for a song that isn't CD quality? Give me CD quality songs and maybe my tune changes. mp3 is a good medium, but the technology isn't all the way there yet. If I'm paying I want CD quality.

I'm not going to post them. I found out that I kind of messed up the original lyrics and I reposted the correct ones, I messed up like two words but it changed the meaning completely. I see why LA was confused.

OK so the program is free then? The songs aren't. The quality of an mp3 is not cd quality so why should I pay for it? I could tape it off the radio and in some cases get similar quality. Like I said, I buy cds from bands I like, but if a band has one song on a cd that I want I'll download it. I'm not paying 15 bucks for one song.

Why anyone pays for iTunes is beyond me. I am the type of mp3 user that downloads one song off of an album because the rest of it isn't worth paying for. If I want to pay for mp3s I would just go buy the full length album. I also like to get songs from albums that aren't out yet. I've got two songs from the new Nine Inch Nails cd that comes out in May. Am I stealing, in the eyes of many, yes. Am I hurting record sales? No.

How do I interpit it? Differently in different situations. In this situation I look at it a lot like the current situation here. Everyone is doing what someone else is doing. Sort of has a cult feeling to it and at times I get the same feeling from a few groups here. No one wants to be a leader, everyone is a follower.

Why would you not consider bowling a sport but golf is? It's a scored game that requires a skill. The same as any other athletic game. I know the golfer you are talking about and in the end he was granted use of a cart from the courts. He would not be able to drive 500 miles in a NASCAR race with his deformed foot.
