  1. Rich I know Lisa is a big Steelers fan (my brother is too, but I didn't watch many games with him this year). Did Kendrell Bell just fall out of favor there? He was the big thing a few years ago.
  2. Here is some more news. Kendrell Bell a Chief
  3. According to a few posts there, Ed Hartwell is suspposed to decide between Miami, KC, and Arizona today. They also seem to want Fred Smoot. I forgot about Smoot. Smoot may be a better option for THAT team then Ty Law is. Ty Law is an injury risk right now and Fred Smoot is healthy and younger.
  4. I have no idea. The deal was Surtain and the 'Phins first rounder for Alexander and the 'Hawks first rounder. Seattle made the playoffs so you are looking at the latter part of the first round.
  5. www.profootballweekly.com has also picked this story up.
  6. Miami is trying a major overhaul. I read on profootballweekly.com that they had discussed a trade with Seattle for Alexander. Surtain and the swapping of first round picks were involved.
  7. Well first of all, the NY Post or whatever paper that was in NY stated the other day that the Jets are out of the running for Law. The Chiefs were scared away by Samari Rolle's injury (not the only factor, but a factor none the less). Ty Law is as big of an injury question mark as Rolle. Secondly, ESPN is almost like a message board in terms of quality rumors at this point. If they say it, it's not happening.
  8. I don't think New England is going to make the Super Bowl this year. The rapid turnover of their team with both coaches and players has finally taken effect and they will begin to come back to the pack. If Bruschi doesn't come back that's one more nail in the coffin.
  9. I would do the following. Sign DeMulling. Finish the LJ for Henry trade. Sign Ty Law if he comes cheap enough. Either get an extension done with NC or trade him for a first round pick. Find a TE and OL depth in the draft. Sign someone cheap to fill PW spot.
  10. That's the least of my issues with him. The guy makes Randy Moss look like a choir boy.
  11. Well if they were hesitant to sign Rolle because of his injury I'm SURE they think they same thing about Law. If I were Law I wouldn't sign with KC. Whenever a defender signs on to be the centerpiece somewhere it always turns out bad because when the rest of the KC defense still sucks, Law becomes the fall guy. Hell look at how they ran Gregg Robinson out of town in KC and brought back Gunther. It wasn't the DC, it was the lack of defensive talent. PERIOD.
  12. ROTFLMAO Excellent. I wouldn't touch Boston with a 50 foot pole if I was TD.
  13. Yeah they did, but look at who they played in the playoffs. Denver (Wild Card Round) Everyone knows Denver has sucked since Elway left. Tennessee (Divisional Round) Tennessee was the same team Baltimore was, all defense, no offense. Oakland (AFC Title Game) A team that played beyond their talent that year. NY Giants (Super Bowl XXXV) Maybe the worst NFC rep in a Super Bowl EVER.
  14. You should be happy, Boston is a very good player when he can stay on the field. It's just one less weapon in an already pathetic offense.
  15. The addition of Law WOULD help the Bills. The secondary would be almost unbeatable and that would mask some of the problems we have with rushing the passer with our front four. If TD can do two things FIRST I would encourage him to go for Law. 1. Sign Demulling 2. Trade for Shelton If those two things happen and we can get Ty Law in here too, it would be a GREAT offseason once again. If he doesn't do the first two though, I won't be as happy if we got Law.
  16. It doesn't matter how good their defense is honestly, if they can't put points on the board they will still lose to a team like Indy. New England has a great defense, but they have a pretty good offense to go with it, that's why they are successful. You have to be balanced.
  17. Can you imagine someone putting those stats up these days? Man that is HORRIBLE. Ryan Leaf put up better numbers than that.
  18. I apologize if it's already been posted. Warner a Cardinal
  19. I knew you were busting his balls, and I was busting our balls for being such Bills geeks. "Hey Man let's go, we are going to go to this big party." Typical TBD reader reply "Nah, I am still trying to see if we released Drew Bledsoe yet."
  20. It's based on the assumption that bringing Ty Law in when we don't need him is going to create a trade possibility with a Free Agent to be. I would love to keep Nate and sign Ty Law. We would have the best secondary in the NFL, maybe of ALL TIME dare I say it.
  21. No, he probably just has a social life unlike the rest of us.
  22. The only reason I suggest this is because Nate is an UFA after this coming season and chances are we are gonna have to let him go because you know the price range is going to be outreagous. Why not bring Ty Law in (also proven I'm sure you would agree), and trade Nate away for a first round pick, and then when Ty is ready to step down in 4-5 years, Mcgee will be ready or already at elite status as a CB.
  23. The scenario I envision would be for the Bills to sign Law, then trade Nate to try to get back into the first round of the draft. Ty still has plenty left in the tank. By the time he's ready to slow down Terrence will be our shutdown guy anyways.
  24. Well if the Bills and Jets are both in the hunt for Ty Law like we keep hearing, this is good for the Bills. The Jets now have to wait to find out if they will get him or not, and it can stall other negotiations along the way. The same thing happened with Spikes a couple years ago. We signed him to that sheet, but we would have been in limbo for a week if the Bengals hadn't chosen to let him go right away.
