  1. The government covering something up???? Nah.......never.
  2. I will still be excited every time September rolls around but one Super Bowl win would satisfy me for a long long time.
  3. I just couldn't help it, that hits the wrong nerve with me. I know what you are saying though. On a side note, thanks Cindy (#89). I could sure use one of your big hugs today.
  4. Real stand up post. You are a real man. Bite me. For the rest of you I thank you very much for your thoughts and prayers. The funeral is Saturday and he will be buried with his father who passed away in 1987.
  5. I was informed today that my cousin Mark has passed away from a heart attack. He was in his early 40's and living in a state home for the mentally disabled. He was born with a fever and the hospital didn't treat him properly and he developed severe retardation. He was never able to enjoy the things that most of us take for granted yet he always had a smile on his face. He adored my brother and I and I always loved getting to see him. I hadn't seen Mark in a couple of years as he usually only got to visit around the holidays. I just wanted to share this with everyone and take a second out to remind everyone that no matter what may go wrong in our lives, we will never have it as bad as Mark did every day. He took what life gave him and made the most out of it. I love you Mark and I hope that God is allowing you to enjoy in Heaven what you couldn't here.
  6. HAHAHA. I doubt it. If you guys knew one of my friends you would think I'm a casual NIN fan. He owns thousands of dollars of NIN imports and bootlegs and shirts. He has every release times about 10 (whatever country it was released in he bought it from). It's unbelieveable.
  7. Well if he would just let the fact that I don't like Sean May go and leave it at that, I would leave him alone. He should take his own class it sounds like.
  8. I'm sure if you were presented the opportunity to have your photo taken with a musician you would not pass up the opportunity. I don't go actively seeking them out, I've just been fortunate to be in the right place at the right time. I met the two NIN members when they came out to the rail to sign autographs in Cleveland on opening night of the Fragility tour. That's hardly groupie esque.
  9. No but I've been following UNC for the last few weeks. That JV team they are fielding next year is gonna be FANTASTIC!!!!
  10. I'd say it cost me no more than 5 bucks in gas. About 30 miles. That's hardly 50. I've met lots of musicians. Get out of the house some more and you might as well. You guys kill me. I'm seen far worse stories here than that. How many people here have told stories about meeting the 4th string tight end for the Bills or some guy that played minor league baseball? I don't see a whole lot of difference.
  11. They were making an attempt at humor. It seems neither of them have ever been able to meet members of a rock band and somehow being able to do so would make you a groupie.
  12. Yeah I understand noballs. Major recording artists don't come to your area. I'm not sure indoor plumbing has arrived there yet either. You aren't presented with opportunities to meet major recording artists. I can understand your jealousy.
  13. Oh did I leave that out? I'm sorry I met the drummer and the ex guitarist (who is now in limbo with GN'R.) I'm sorry I left that out.
  14. Well considering I saw them 4 times in two weeks in 4 cities on the last tour, I would say I love the music. We met the webmaster for nin.com at the last show we went to on that tour and he took our photo and it was on nin.com for a couple years. He directed the video for the first single off this album as well.
  15. It wasn't a music store persay, it was a Meijer. They are open all night and they carry the unedited copies of cds on release date. It was only 9.88 on sale. A good deal.
  16. Well I just think that it was the propper use of mp3s. I was able to listen to what I was going to purchase for a few weeks in advance and then I bought the album like I was supposed to. They had the album streaming from nin.com for the last several days anyways.
  17. Well I threw out the burnt copy and erased the files this morning from my hard drive. I have no use for them anymore now that I have the real deal. It's kind of strange to be going to a store to pick up a cd and on the way to pick that cd up you are listening to it in the car.
  18. I'm sure others have funny stories about getting anticipated cds, but I went pretty far this morning. I went to get the new NIN record (even though I've had a burnt copy for weeks) at 12 midnight and our local store didn't have the copies they were supposed to have. They didn't come in. So what do I do? I drive 15 miles each way into Michigan to go to another store at almost 1 am to get my damn cd. I just didn't feel like waiting around for it all day and then not being able to get it when I expected to. Hopefully it debuts at number 1 this next week. It's a great album.
  19. I agree 100 percent. WOW RON EDWARDS IS UP TO 320 HE'S GOING TO THE PRO BOWL!!!! Ron Edwards needs to show me he can play before he shows me he can be a pro bowler.
  20. Yep I can see TD wielding a .44 in the draft room. Didn't anyone tell you though, there is no Son of Sam. David Berkowitz is now the SON OF HOPE!!!!!
  21. I hope they are being sincere, but I've heard these same comments about RJ, Flutie, and Drew when they took over, so I'm not going to read a lot into it.
  22. I love how articles like this get everyone all excited. I remember the gushing comments the players used to make about Drew. What do you WANT them to say? They aren't going to bash J.P and it would be wise to help build his confidence with good comments about his play.
  23. Best hitter in the game.........ohhhhhhhhhhhhhhh yeaaaaaaaahhhhhhh!!!!
  24. I need to get a Lee Evans and J.P Losman and throw out my Henry and Bledsoe jerseys.
  25. Good!!!! Well not good, but good.
