I agree. I was really surprised that Joe Satriani did not make the list (well actually on second review of the list I'm not), but that list is just about the biggest pile of garbage I've ever seen. All I can think of is Joni Mitchell singing "They paved paradise and put up a parking lot." while strumming the same three chords.

That list is laughable at best and absurd at worst. Joni Mitchell ahead of Tony Iommi? HAHAHAHAHAHA I can't even say anything else it's that big of a joke.

I have made a couple of straight flushes in live card rooms. I've also had 4 of a kind several times. It's not impossible, but it's just easier for someone to blame a computer when they lose a pot than it is to blame themselves.

Do you want to know why you see these type of hands more often? Online you are playing so many more hands than you would at a casino durring a session or in a home game. More hands=seeing more variables.

I wouldn't even bother with the NHL if I were ESPN. Hockey is dead. The Stanley Cup Finals ratings are just horrible. Why even bother with the NHL? It's a dead league.

Well I can say that I did not bash Travis for missing the mini camp. Do I think it would be beneficial for Willis to show up? Of course. Will it make or break our season? I don't believe so. So based on those two things I really don't think it's too big of a deal. Not one to jump overboard about anyways.

I just don't see it as being that big of a deal Lori. Training Camp is where things really get fine tuned. The mini camps in May and June basically consist of flag football type play. Willis knows the playbook, and that's the main thing they work on durring mini camp. Just doesn't seem like too big of a deal to me.

OK so last year and in 2003 everyone shows up just like the Pats and we finish 6-10 and 9-7. This year we have guys not showing up and we should all be concerned about it? These things aren't that important to veteran players. Rookies need them but the vets do not.

I could say the same thing about watching the Yankees, but we'll save that for another time and another forum.

The best kind of TV? Just about anything other than American Idol. While I'm pretty much referring to "reality" TV as a whole, I'd rate that at the top of the list of shows that need to be taken off the air. Network television has been horrible for years though so I would expect that trend to continue. How many different types of CSI do we really need?

An American Legion about 20 minutes from me holds one every month. It started as a 50 dollar buy in and they would get around 100 guys. First was 2000 and the top 10 paid. The best I was able to do was third. Then they raised the buy in to 120 and they are getting 140 a month (max number) and they have legit dealers now. I'm surprised the cops aren't onto that one yet. First is now taking home somewhere around 5 grand.

My guess is that it's probably run by this company. www.pokerplayersinc.com They are just all in fests. The blinds last 8 or 10 minutes I believe. I had a friend that played in one. The object is to earn points by your finishes and get invited to a bigger tournament and eventually win a WSOP seat.
