The jerseys are cool, but I do not want to see them as the regular jersey. They look good though.

That would be nice. I'd love to see something like that. The main event final table is always live on the internet. That's about it though. -

Event Number 2 Final Table Seat 1- Richard Boutwell (204,000 in chips) Seat 2- Scott Fischman (707,000) Seat 3- Dave "Devilfish" Ulliott (270,000) Seat 4- Allen Cunningham (728,000) Seat 5- Charlie Huff (509,000) Seat 6- Randy Edmunson (89,000) Seat 7- Can Kim Hua (440,000) Seat 8- Liz Lieu (177,000) Seat 9- An Tran (337,000) Scott Fischman is the defending champion of this event and is looking for back to back bracelets in this event. Allen Cunningham, Dave Ulliott, and An Tran are also previous bracelet winners in various events. I'm rooting for Fischman. It would be spectacular to win back to back with these fields (831 and 2305) I'll post event number 3 info later. They are down to about 70 players I believe with some pros still hanging in there. -

www.pokerpages.com They are doing updates every few hours. This was from this morning. They haven't started play today yet. I think it starts at 12 noon Vegas time. -
Aren't they supposed to show it? NFL Europe is on now.

Agreed, however it is possible to survive and advanced without a ton of premium cards. You just have to be creative. Now later in the limit poker events they will be having you better be getting some cards. If ANY pro wins a just one bracelet this year it will be a huge accomplishment. If these smaller events are going to bring out 2500 people it's going to be so tough for a name player to win a bracelet, let alone make a final table. There are still some left in this event though, so maybe we will see one or two of them at the final table. -

Tom Donahoe on UB Athletics

Let's hope TD can do a better job getting UB athletics on track than he has for the Bills. 4 years and counting.........we're still waiting Tom. -

Since you felt compelled to once again try to get into it with me let me point out a few things. 1. I did not say I don't like Shaq as a person. I do like Shaq as a person. He's quite funny and is good in the community. 2. Even if I said I didn't like Shaq as a person, who are you to tell me about "getting" someone with class and integrity? This from the same guy that sat there ridiculing someone who was grieving a family member. You sir are the one who doesn't "get it". -

And come Saturday night Detroit are just going to be losers. It's a little tougher to win when you aren't getting all the calls. -

Don't like him, but definately a class move and I'm glad the Heat destroyed Detroit. Saturday night I hope they put the hammer down for good on those punks. -

So you can watch NHL Hockey? -
I expect ticket sales to really pick up if the Bills play well this year and especially if J.P proves he can play. 2006 could be a return to being a real contender again.

Big George is the first true legend in NBA history. RIP George.

The prices for the Fort Wayne Komets are not too bad. I didn't manage to go to any games this year but as of '03-04 the prices were only like 8 bucks a game or something like that. They have a lot of promotional nights and the team is always good. They won the cup in 2003 and lost in the Finals this year. I wish the IHL hadn't folded because I liked that league better and the Komets were a legendary franchise in the I. As for Clements, my favorite NHL team is the Pens. I'd also root for the Sabres if they weren't playing the Pens.
-
Depends on the market really. The Komets always put a good product out and they are good to the fans. They already hold the UHL attendance record for a game when over 10,000 (I believe) showed up to see the Komets win the Colonial Cup in '03. The NHL just sickens me.
-
I watch a lot of minor league hockey. The UHL produces some good hockey (the Komets of Fort Wayne are my favorite of course). I get to a few games a year and I really enjoy it. The NHL however has become a joke. When the GM of my favorite team comes out publicly and says "We have no shot at competing." then why should I bother to watch that trash? Teams going bankrupt in the middle of the season, the current mess, it just adds up. To the NHL I say thanks but no thanks.
-
Hockey? Who cares. The NHL is the minor league of the 4 major sports. Always has been and always will be.

These aren't really "alternate' uniforms. They are throwback unis and I hope they are treated as such. If we are gonna do a real alternate uni, let's get something in red.
-
I plan to buy a Losman and Evans in this new jersey style circa '65. One home and one away since you know we will see one later on if not on Saturday. I think the road ones are better than that home ones.
-
I think it's great that they are coming out with throwback unis, but to hide exact copies of the 1965 unis in secrecy and have a whole show based around it is a little um......lame. I'll definately be getting one, but I can't really understand all the hype over exact replicas of the 1965 unis.
