Steve there is nothing wrong with #89 trying to stay positive. It's her right. It's also your right to criticize the team just like it's mine to do one or the other. I root for them every Sunday the same way no matter what. After the game if we win I'm happy, if we lose I'm pissed. I don't let it bother the other aspects of my life as I've got lots of other stuff that's far more important going on right now with me, but I'm not happy with this team........but as I said that's my right. I can respect her right to be optomistic but it also our right to be upset. If you don't agree with her, that's fine.......just don't reply to the post. -
The problem with the Bills organization
BF_in_Indiana replied to BF_in_Indiana's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
That's the exact point I'm making. I don't care if Drew is making 8 million a year. If Drew can't get us into the end zone then Shane Mathews ought to get his shot. The same thing with Travis. If Travis isn't doing the job, then where is Willis???? I want the guys in there that can get the W for this team. Same thing with the coach. As far as your post Paco, I never said it was all Bledsoes fault, but I said he should have been benched at some point in that game. -

Cindy it's a continuation of last year. We have now watched this team struggle to score a TD in every game since week 3 of last week for the most part. It gets a little tough to take for most here after a while. I still get excited for games, but my expectations are WAY down right now. They were down to start but now if we score more then 14 points it was a big day. -
The biggest problem with the Bills organization is that they refuse to change. Donahoe refuses to shake things up when there is a problem. It was obvious last year that Williams should have been gone durring the bye week. Would we have made the playoffs?? No, but I think the team would have played better in the second half of the season. We have refused to pay big money to bring in a head coach that we know could get the job done like a Joe Gibbs (I know he wouldn't have come here) or someone like that. We keep training coaches on the job while our performance continues to suck. The Bledsoe situation is another thing. He would have been benched in the 3rd quarter of that game by a lot of coaches. Yet he continued to take sacks and suck up the joint and we still lost. Refusal to change is killing this organization and it starts at the top with Old Whitey. The guy just can't admit he made a mistake on things.

I love watching Annie Duke lose at poker
BF_in_Indiana replied to Pete's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I am with Pete. I was disgusted with all of her talk about her brother at the table and then she cries when she puts him out. OH WELL.......if you are going to cry when you put your brother out then don't enter a tourney with him. -

Actually she isn't the only one that would get upset at the first incident like that. That's a tourney no no. She was totally out of line in the incident in Positively 5th Street though. Big letdown that she won though tonight. She was the least qualified to be at that table (other then Raymer, but he is the World Champion) -

Pete I don't like Annie much either, but you gotta get some stuff straight. What she was complaining about was a showdown hand, Youngblood mucked his cards when you are supposed to show them down in tournament play. Annie won the hand but his actions were incorrect. She is friends with him and taught him how to play Omaha. Matt Savage the tournament director agreed with her and he apologized and that was it. I don't blame her for being upset. In the McMannus book she was out of line but it was not with some young kid. It was against another top pro and they play together all the time. She knew she had acted wrongly and apologized to the whole table. They didn't "let her off" as it never got out of hand. -

If there wasn't luck involved Phil would win every time!!!!! That sucked, I was mad. I wanted Phil or Texas Dolly to win it. Guess it wasn't meant to be. -

ICE I admire your posts and love reading them, but there is a BIG DIFFERENCE between Philly last year and us. Philly was a good team. They knew how to win. They had been to back to back NFC Title games. Their two losses were to TB (Defending World Champions) and NE (that years SB champions). The Bills on the other hand have lost at home to Jacksonville and now they have lost in a pathetic display to Oakland. This is a team without a clue of where they are going once again. The Eagles had a clue, that's the difference. -
He's a big problem though that's for sure. Ricky Williams had a crappy offensive line and Ricky Williams was still running for 150 and hanging onto the ball. Give him a call, maybe we can get him away from the bong and back on the field.

JP will get thunderous applause when he debuts
BF_in_Indiana replied to Pete's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I'm off the Bledsoe bandwagon...........he just can't get it done. A good portion of it isn't his fault, but a lot of it is. -
Yep 23 TD's and 18 fumbles......... Willis is a scorer. That's what he did in college and that's what he did in the preseason. Travis is a "between the 20's back.

I hope Mularkey is ready to play him, helps us for next year. He can get some game experience.

The Detroit Lions are a better team then us
BF_in_Indiana replied to BF_in_Indiana's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I don't see us winning more then 6 games. I'm sure Detroit will win 6 or 7......... And they are showing PROGRESS. That's the big difference. We aren't. We are digressing.
