That was almost funny.
And it's actually right on target. I enjoy the banter around here that you just don't get anywhere else. Sometimes it gets out of line, but for the most part it's good natured fun.

OK Brandon, you're right. You're always right. You're right that the NBA is out to screw the friggin' Pacers because they wear faggy colored uniforms and Reggie Miller looks like a starving Ethernopian Q-tip. You're right that the Cardinals were the best team in baseball last season, painting October red, even though they got fuggin' thumped by Boston 4 straight - but only because the Red Sox got hot. You're right that having the best record in baseball in late June will have some kind of meaning in the dog days and October. You're right that the Pacers are going to win the NBA Championship next season, even though this season isn't even over yet.
What's funny is how hard you rail against people who are EXACTLY like YOU.
So once again you fail to answer the question.
Buffalo sports fans cry like babies. I love the Bills, but the whole world is not consipiring to keep WNY down on the mat. If the Sabres won that series would the area be better off? I'm sure a great number of people would tell you yes as they still wait in the unemployment line for their checks.

You haven't seen any websites for blown calls other than that have you? How can you tell me that Denks call would have spawned a website when you can't even produce one other site other than that Bills related lateral site.

So who suited up? Why did they play the games? How could they have charged admission? Had I known they weren't the real Pacers, I woulda notified the Commissioner, maybe even the FBI, if there was an abduction of the real Pacers. Did the wives of the real Pacers know that thier husbands were abducted?
This is shocking I never follow this stuff closely, but this may warrant further investigation, enough about the runaway bride, maybe we should find these missing Pacers.
Typical stupid response. Everyone knows damn well Indiana got hosed by the NBA but won't acknowledge it. Their too busy putting up websites for "nogoal.com" for a blown call six years ago.
-
Nice job avoiding the question.
Let me answer it for you and everyone else.
No, none of those sites exist. Blown calls happen all the time. Actually I agree with you Darin, the call was wrong and they were too spineless to overturn it. But don't expect any sympathy from me.

Well a hypocrite would tell you that only their teams have gotten screwed in a sporting event. I believe the Sabres got screwed, but how many other fan bases have websites dedicated to blown calls? Do you see "www.nocontinuation.com" on the net after Larry Johnson got fouled, took two dribbles and shot a three pointer at the end of a playoff game to win it with a 4 point play?
How about "www.hefumbled.com" for Jerry Rice fumble against GB in that playoff game in '98?
Or here's my favorite one. And Don the Denk will love this one. Where is "www.hewasout.com"???
What's the website for the forward pass the Titans made?

WTF do album sales have to do with the music? What the hell do I care how an album sells...its all about the music, period.
Radiohead, the Pixies, Public Enemy and many of the others on that list made great f'in albums, I give a sh-- if the public was perceptive enough to go out and buy the album or of the bands/record companies didn't put the cash behind a marketing campaign to sell the album.
And its not like these are small garage bands anyway, these almost all big name bands, if you haven't heard of 'em then you probably haven't been paying attention to music in the past 15 years or so.
FYI, I've heard of every one of them and I've heard and owned several of the albums listed. Most are hardly "great".

That about sums it up.

Great albums are a combination of things. Album sales, album quality, lasting impact. I'm sorry but none of the albums I've seen on the top of that list and the bottom have more than one of those qualities. I take that back, Nevermind does.
-
Yeah those are some really "great albums". I'm sure all of about 500 people own a few of them.
