That's pathetic. Giving away free playoff tickets??? I mean the Yankees fans don't grow content with winning. You wouldn't see Yankee Stadium half empty for a playoff game. Atlanta is a pretty wealthy region so that shouldn't be an excuse. It's just a pathetic fan base. Atlanta doesn't deserve the Braves and the success they have had.

Well Pete if you want to be a little more accurate you can't cut those guys out. Where does Drew fit in with the 31 other starting QB's in the NFL??? Stat wise. I don't care how many attempts they have. Where does he ranks. Actually even better, where does his 85 qb rating rate this season??? I'm just curious.

Well Vincent hasn't done anything spectacular but I thought he has done alright in coverage. I think this is about the least of this teams concerns though.

Yes but that doesn't mean you don't show interest. Of the guys that were out there with some prior coaching experience we targeted only the ones that would come cheaply (Jauron comes to mind).

I wasn't spiting the Braves TEAM with that remark. I was spiting their fans. They don't show up like they should because for some reason they think they have won the World Series the past 10 years. They should be in the same boat as the rest of us fans around the league starving for a title. Yet they can't even sell out their playoff games. When the Cards swept the Braves in 2000 the Stadium in Atlanta was half full for game 3 and a good poartion of the fans there were CARDINALS fans. The Braves fans (as a majority) SUCK. That's my opinion. If you fall into the category I spoke of above then yes I'm saying you suck. If not then you are a good fan which I think is great.

I totally agree with that. Tom Donahoe has become totally transfixed on taking a daring shot at something instead of the sure thing. We could have had Steinbach or Dallas Clarke but instead we took a flyer on Willis. We spent a high pick on Ryan Denney in what in my opinion was a move to spite the Steelers. Instead of drafting a QB of the future we traded for an over the hill washed up Drew Bledsoe. The Pats don't work that way. They draft good smart football players. They sprinkle in a few quality vet players like Harrison, Colvin, and Dillon and their coaching staff is excellent at making them work like a team. We have NONE of that. Until we get 1 oz of that we won't be competitive. We will continue to be a team that tries to make waves in the offseason but becomes a disaster when it counts.

I agree with you. I don't even get nervous durring games anymore. I know we will lose in the end so why even bother getting nervous??? This team over the last two years has beaten me down that bad.

I agree on both counts. That's why I'm picking Houston to beat Atlanta. I think they beat them rather easily too. Probably 4 games.

Looking at this upcoming game against the Jets as a loss like most here will I must say that if we go down at home to Miami that place will become the most vile and angry place in the ENTIRE NFL. It could get VERY ugly next week at home. Tis team is that bad right now that I could see them actually losing to Miami. I'm sure the D will make Fiedler look great and that the offense surely won't score against the Miami D. This just flat out SUCKS.

Braves fans get thrown in the same category as you throw Red Sox fans. They have a tough time selling out postseason games when in truth they haven't won a title since 1995. So what if you make it every year???? If you don't win it you are just like the Red Sox. The Cardinals will have more trouble with LA then they will with Atlanta. I guarantee that. Actually I'm picking a Houston/St. Louis LCS.

I made that comparison last year and people thought I was crazy. I think I'm right on though. This will be the 5th year in a row with no playoffs and no hope in sight. That my friends reminds me of the Bengals.

I can only speak for me, but I've ripped on the following today. Travis, Moulds, Wire, Donahoe, Fletcher, Reed I might have missed someone there but I've ripped on EVERY ONE of those guys today. It's not JUST Travis, but I'm tired of his attitude without backing it up. Put up or get the hell out of Buffalo Travis. Same for the rest of these losers.
