Who did they actually rate us higher than??? I'm sure the Fins were one of them, but who else in the NFL could even hold a candle to this team as far as poor play goes?????
I think that McCarver made a good point (I can't stand him, but I agree.) I think this sets the tone for the entire series. The Sox are going to make the Yankees earn every out and vice versa.
No lead is safe in this series, I think that is already clear.
7 blown saves against Boston since 2001??? Only 21 total. That doesn't bode well for the Yankees I wouldn't think if not tonight then later in the series.
I just have a feeling he is going to do well tomorrow night. It's just a gut feeling, that's all. I have no stats to back it up, it's just a hunch.
The Astros are a tough team, should be a tough series.
Lieber is the one I expect to get rocked.
All the Sox have to do is win 1 of 2 at Yankee Stadium. Pedro and Curt are going to pitch two times each this series. Curt screwed the pooch tonight, but you haven't seen the last of him.
I expect Pedro to pitch well tomorrow night.
I HATE limit poker. You will find that premium hands don't get paid off a lot in small limit games because you can't really muscle your way into a pot, some idiot is always going to crack you with Q7 or something.
Usually I do pretty well in limit hold 'em but the last time I went to a casino I got busted for 400 bucks.
The Red Sox look flat. I think the extra days off hurt them to be honest.
St. Louis has had that problem in the NLCS the last few times they have gotten there, too much time in between a sweep in the LDS and the first game of the LCS.
3/6 limit hold 'em is an easy concept. Only play the following hands.
AA
KK
QQ
JJ
10/10
9/9
8/8
7/7
AK (Suited)
AK non suit
AQ suited
You get one of those hands you raise obviously, you don't you fold.
Don't slowplay anything.
HAHAHA you actually believe that don't you?
Both Boston AND St. Louis have better lineups and pitching then the Yankees. Hell I could even throw Houston in ahead of NY.
In my opinion NY is the WORST team left in the playoffs.
I'm looking forward to watching this almost as much as I am the NLCS. I want Boston to just kick the hell out of the Yankees and send NYC into a year long depression.
