    I'm GLAD the NLCS isn't getting much hype, I think that bodes well for the winner going into the World Series.

    The Astros won the season series 10 to 8 with 3 or 4 of those wins coming AFTER we had clinched everything.......very misleading. They do match up well though. And yes they were the only N.L team to have a winning record against us.

    It is a huge blow to the Sox, a real shame actually. I would love to see these teams at their best so when it's all said and done neither side has an excuse for not getting it done.

    I will give the Astros plenty of chance to win this series. They have the team that can get it done. I hope not obviously but I wouldn't be shocked to see it.

    Wow, this week keeps getting better and better. First the implosion at OBD starts, then Willis may start, and now Lawyer might play.

    This season is tanked, why not put Willis in there??? Not just this week, but EVERY WEEK. He's the guy we are keeping, not Travis, so why not give him the touches he needs to get back into the swing of things??? I can live with a slow start from him if it helps in the long run. He sure looked better last week then Travis has.

    No I made that comment in a post and got a lot of stevestojan for it, so I told them I would put it in my sig line and if the Cardinals lost to the Yankees in the WS I would leave it up for a year. Not that I am above patting myself on the back or anything like that

    I actually appreciate that POOJER. Glad to see you giving props to the NLCS teams. They are both good squads and deserve it.

    The Diamondbacks of 2001 made me sick. I actually rooted for NY to win that series. The DBacks had to take loans out through MLB because they were struggling financially so what did they do??? They went out and got Randy Johnson and Curt Schilling. That doesn't sound like a team struggling to make money to me.
