  1. i'm laughing but i feel guilty laughing this
  2. I voted for Losman, as he may have been successful if donahoe didn't tempt with fate and let Green Bay draft him. That said, Todd Collins had a functional environment to work with at the start, but the idiots at OBD and in the press didn't give him time to develop. I would be inclined to think that Todd Collins would have been a long-time starter if given that time by the people previously mentioned. This is based on the fact that he has lasted this long in the league as a backup with very limited opportunities. Usually guys that are older, not all that experienced, and are backups, are not staying in said position long due to the escalating salary for holding a clipboard.
  3. well they paid into some form of unemployment to begin with. So, yes BP is accountable to some degree for these laid-off workers salaries before the moratorium by the Obama administration. Now, because they couldn't follow basic business practices of maintaining your equipment despite generating record profits. They should be held accountable to their workers, and everyone effected by this spill.
  4. criminal sure. financially sanctioned, hell no. This would stay in appeals so long that the Cubs will win a world series, the Bills a Super Bowl, and the Clippers the O'Brien trophy before this ever exited litigation. Meanwhile, the toll on the gulf region would be so much that it would do more long term damage to new orleans than Katrina.
  5. that is the sad part where the oil industry as a whole should have had legit plans to plug and contain such a leak as opposed to lowballing the numbers and letting the carnage ensue. Furthermore, if they had maintained their equipment to a high standard chances are that this incident wouldn't have happened. For the others who are saying that due process would have been enough, Are you kidding me? Devastating the wildlife due to your apathy deserves severe penalty, financial and possible criminal.
  6. on Barton's facebook status he posts: http://www.facebook.com/RepJoeBarton?v=wal...130316913655840 The freaking idiot cannot get politics out of his head in such a tragedy that he going to attack Obama for making BP pay. But then again he has received over $1.4 million in campaign financing for the oil industry throughout his career http://www.opensecrets.org/politicians/ind...m=N&recs=20 . We really need to get rid of these pigs in congress and elect people with integrity
  7. lol, newbs treating you like crap... show them who's boss Deano
  8. thank you... scary thing is that the lower-than-low budget helped us got found people that work at channel 7 so starting in july we'll be doing a three minute segment on a public access tv show called carmadeeTV. The host has interviews with Lee Evans, Chad jackson, and Shawn Nelson scheduled. So, there will be more hours of video of us stuttering from the set of AM Buffalo with HD camera's, professional editting and much better audio. Also, conner is definitely deserving.

  10. my list: 1. scott, obvious 2. lori, should be obvious for her contributions 3. BiB, great poster that I wish was still around 4. #89, another great poster that has contributed for much longer than I 5. Dean, for being the club bouncer that we needed at times without being a dick. 6. Rich, his contributions to the fantasy board and main board have been invaluable to the board. 7. KTFABD, usually very well thought out posts that never cross the line into being a jerk 8. Rosen, for crashing the board and hooking us up with tickets in the nosebleeds (will send check out tomorrow) 9. Bill, for his yearly hissy fit for the Bills drafting a DB in the first 2 rounds 10. Crayonz, for lighting up the mood of the board, when we need it, and still being clever after many different epic threads (like his hamsters)
  11. ok like ralphy or the mara's who have owned their franchises for a long time that article fails to mention that jones bought the cowboys with money earned from being an oil tycoon. when it comes down to jones he wants to eliminate the cba to benefit himself and his franchise while screwing smaller markets like buffalo. ralphy would probably want the cap set up like it was back before the last CBA. This way small market teams would actually have a chance while big market teams would have to redistribute the wealth. I know it is a communist idea, but it worked well in practice for the NFL. Now since the economy is crap, no one can afford to be greedy.
  12. don't forget about fathering >10 kids. K Gun Special, I will go out of my way to say if a defensive player gets 3 sacks in a losing effort where his team was getting manhandled, he had a great day. This is because the Falcons did not need to pass much once they established a lead. This also shows that he played with a lot of heart. Schobel was above average, could have been to more pro bowls if he played on a better team. Simply put.
  13. yes and for the record carney wasn't in the league until after that season. So, no more players are in the league and in the game
  14. Jeff Feagles? John Carney? are they on the game?
  15. i'm gonna have to disagree with you there. I think tim did what he had to do to get a story. That all said, I think Ricky caught a bum wrap for a drug that is more of a muscle relaxer and pain reliever than a hard drug or performance enhancer. Because of his suspension, Williams has become a more balanced and stronger man as a result. Still, I think even the most generous person on the board would have to at least call him eccentric.
  16. i still remember bo jackson being impossible to tackle in that game
  17. I am really surprised nobody has mentioned Gail Gilbert. He easily had a stronger arm than Kelly. While I can't comment much about lamonica, Harris, or Fergy. I would have to say Gilbert, Bledsoe, and Losman are the 3 strongest arms the Bills have had in the past 20 years.
  18. Exactly, Nick is a very respected player that did play American football over there. That said Nick, I think it is Italy's year. If not them, then Spain. I will say that Cameroon will surprise a lot of people this year, with Eto'o earning some honors. Edit: player and poster
  19. says the guy whose name is known for crashing the board
  20. FWIW, the last position player to make the pro bowl who was also a long snapper was bruce mathews. Every team would love to have regular player who can play long snapper but that is not the case due to what specific skill set is required of them. Figure you need a guy with linebacker speed, the ability to block, snap a ball accurate and quick at 7 yards or 13 yards. the third part is toughest part to find of that combo think of it like the closer in baseball all he needs to have are two pitches and one of them is a lightning fast fastball that approaches 100mph, that is the only thing he does and he has to be damn good at those two pitches or he is on the streets
  21. IIRC Mitchell didplay ILB for KC when they changed to a 3-4 at one point. that said, I see mitchell probably playing SLB with Kelsay backing him up, and Maybin and Ellis fighting for WLB. Just my $.02 EDIT: from what i read KC was 4-3 but mitchell does have experience inside. That said, Mitchell I see playing outside
