  1. hey, don't call me surely (homage to the grate Lesly Nealon) You must watch out for Curse Kelley, he has looked like the next Bryce Smiff this season. Lets just that Erin Maytag turns into the next Bryan Pop. We don't need to draft any LB's at all as Pez looks like the next Conman.
  2. "Over Oveur Roger Roger" Surely, the flight of Leslie Nielsen's life was entertaining and long. He truly deserves a RIP and don't call me shirley 8-)
  3. multiple preo bowl DT for the VIkings that lines up next to phat pat williams
  4. KRC Great List, now when you look at it Bruce was a 3-4 DE where it is the OLB's job to get pressure. He was too good. Reggie played mostly in 4-3 scheme which he was always facing the weaker RT's as opposed to LT's
  5. a couple of those calls we completely bogus, like the florence PI call in the end zone
  6. channelsurfing.net isn't half-bad when their feeds don't get taken down.
  7. guys i see outside backer (even if Merriman comes back and puts together solid games, and stays here) along with replacing stroud at DE our two biggest needs. I can take another year of Fitz if he keeps playing like this. Also, Cord Howard has played well enough to warrant fighting for the RT job next year. This is how i see the needs for the Bills 1a. Outside backer with pass rush ability (aka replacing Kelsay) 1b. Getting Stroud off the field 2 front 7 depth (except for NT) 3 QB 4 OL Depth 5 ? 6 Profit
  8. really? from the guy that signed up 2 months ago? Good posts are good posts. It doesn't matter if it is a noob or Lori, if it is sensible, well thought out, and reasonable, then it has a place here. Yours is a crap post. So, zip it.
  9. no because dick would never challenge anything. He had no balls to do that and the Bills would have ended the game with 2 timeouts. Furthermore, the Bills would have been out of the game at that point.
  10. hate to say it, but our defense last year couldn't stop the run, but was one of the best overall when you take in account for pass rush and especially turnovers where we were king. So, don't say the he didn't have much to work with when he had a double digit sack pass rusher, a rookie safety that got 9 picks, and a defense that had a propensity for the big play. The only thing his scheme was missing was size up the middle to stop the run. The current scheme by Edwards was foolish to transition to, because the D had no size, no returning pass rush, and only 1 starting NFL-caliber LB.
  11. stroud has been woefully overmatched in the last couple seasons regardless of scheme. he is a far cry from the pro bowler he once was. Carrington is young and he enough potential to warrant the play time. Torbor has played well enough for other teams not target their run attack at him as they have with Kelsay. Kelsay is a great character guy, but those guys are only as good as their actual ability which he lacks for a 3-4 LB.
  12. that says a lot cuz ICE has started some stupid threads over the past decade.
  13. not against your suggestion Frankly, what I think it will be is: -----------Stroud-------- Williams------Dwan Kelsay-----------Davis------------Poz---------Merriman and what I think it should be is: ---------Carrington-------- Williams------Dwan Torbor--------------Davis------------Poz---------Merriman
  14. akm by your metrics, you'd have written off Kurt Warner, Brad Johnson, Earl Morrall, Len Dawson, Jim Plunkett, Phil Simms, Mark Rypien, Steve Young, possibly Bret Farve, Trent Dilfer, and Drew Brees. All of them are Super Bowl winning quarterbacks that were capable of putting together a couple decent seasons at the least. Almost all of them struggled early in their career, but earned Pro Bowl honors (except for Plunkett) as well
  15. ICE you amaze me with your lack of facts. It did save the Bills ass. Succop hooked that one field pretty badly, which gave the Bills another chance to win. I hate to say it, but you need to post less when you have a few drinks. The rule is that for consecutive timeouts is that the second one cannot come with less than 15 seconds on the play clock. So, you really can't do much more than give the kicker time to warm up. I will say that I like that when the timeouts had to come from on the field. So my compromise would be that the timeouts cannot come from the sideline with less than 5 seconds on play clock.
  16. 1 assisted tackle= solid game? I guess then that crack= healthy prescription drug Kelsay is a fish out of water, it baffles me that they kept him and got rid of Chris Ellis who looked much more the part.
  17. you are right as Namath's 1965 contract only paid him $25,000 year and had a large signing bonus for the time.
  18. my thoughts as well. It is in a more professional setting than my show, but they should give him more than one take to avoid verbal "faux pas" like that.
  19. Jesus Christ you guys. You don't have to be a rocket scientist to know that a good pass rush makes everyone behind them look good. Now since the Bills have a total of 8 sacks on the season, that is indicative of a piss poor pass rush that really could have used an Aaron Schobel. It is a lot easier for a quarterback to pass when he is not getting pressured much.
