  1. we do pregame with no footage, as youtube chewed us out for copyright before. http://www.youtube.com/user/sklauer21
  2. well it would enable him to star in a porno called "Crouching Tiger, Crooked Penis"
  3. This. The WoW episode was a stroke of genius, and I am saying this as a non WoW guy. The game literally is a time-pit, and Parker and Stone got it right. The last half-season was probably the weakest stretch of shows they have done. However, they should have taken a break after the Book of Mormon.
  4. yes, Barry did. As I pointed out. It may not have been a 14 game season, but Barry did it in 14 consecutive games. Furthermore, it is even more impressive that Barry had 14 consecutive 100 yard games. Nice, even though I am certified to teach math, reread my point. Though, I could have bolded less to make my point clearer. This is exactly what I meant. Thanks GG.
  5. It is worth mentioning that when he was QB coach for Denver/Elway, they did make the Super Bowl. As OC of Pittsburgh, he was able to get Mike Tomczak and Kordell Stewart to impersonate a reasonable QB, each for a season. He then got an increase of productivity out of Troy Aikman in both seasons as Dallas HC compared to the previous 2. The next two years he got as much as he could out of Jay Fieldler and old Lamar Smith as the OC for Wannstache. When returned to the NFL at KC he did a pretty good job with a green Tyler Thigpen after losing his starting QB. That all said, he has had two years of work with a great QB in Elway, two with an above avg QB in Aikman (good QB in the right system, should not be in the HOF, imo), and a bunch of years with lesser talents.
  6. Modell, the same jackass that screwed Cleveland over? Also, compare Reed's career stats to Carter's and tell me who is more deserving. http://www.pro-football-reference.com/players/C/CartCr00.htm http://www.pro-football-reference.com/players/R/ReedAn00.htm Almost identical stats, which tends to the guy who has waited longer should be in. While Carter was battling cocaine addiction in Philly, Reed was already dominating the AFC.
  7. Actually, Barry Sanders did, he had 53 yards in his first two weeks of the season. Then he exploded for exactly 2000 yards in the last 14 games. http://www.pro-football-reference.com/players/S/SandBa00/gamelog/1997/
  8. I stand in the crowd that believes Sharpe shouldn't have been a first ballot HOF'er. Frankly, he was a big receiver that lined up in the slot or flank for a big chunk of his receiving yardage. I think of his as a TE in name only. I can't say that he dominated games like Gonzales or Gates have done. I also think that his brother is more deserving of being in the Hall than him as he was one of the 3 best in the game along with Reed and Rice. I won't say that he wasn't deserving HOF status, but a first ballot guy should be a total game changer. Gonzales is that guy more so that Sharpe, imo.
  9. The same mt. Cody that has struggled to keep his weight down, ran the slowest 40 time by a drafted DT since 95, had 13 tackles last season, and was called out by coach Harbaugh for his poor play? Now explain to me how why Franklin shakes fear into an offense when he couldn't even get a multi year deal w/ the aints?
  10. It took me forever to find a good stat database that counted drops but the washington post counted 2 braylon drops last year, which is pretty good imo, if that is all. http://stats.washingtonpost.com/fb/playerstats.asp?id=7179&team=25
  11. Turbos I agree with everyone else here that you are being very hasty to jump on Troup when reports have been positive enough that they moved KW outside to accomodate him. Nose Tackle is one of the toughest positions to come in to the pros and produce. The fact that Suh was so dominant as an Under Tackle is so freakish and further reinforces how great of a talent he is. Frankly, I hope Jasper and Troup clog up the middle for the next 10 years for the franchise
  12. He actually had no drops last year amazingly. NY media actually praised him for his play last season. So that argument is void. I would also go for Braylon, despite the off-field issues as he would be the most talented receiver on the team. His numbers are deceivingly low as Dirty Sanchez did a great job spreading the ball around with 4 receivers over 50 catches and another over 40 in a run first offense.
  13. Ok, but who mans the Nose as KW is playing end?
  14. wrong!!! Dude I am 27, I remember crying when Norwood missed in Tampa after the 51-3 rout of the LA Raiders in the AFC Championship game. My first football memories were of the bickering Bills. FWIW, I prefer the standing Buffalo. Each logo essentially had a great period of success within its first decade followed by general suckitude afterwards. I prefer the standing Buffalo due to the simplicity of the design combined with the simplicity of all pre-Donahoe jerseys.
  15. Secret handshake, it may end up being his sack dance.
  16. You just have to take a super secret oath, and pledge your allegiance by giving me a beer if we meet in person, and the obviously signature tag. Or you could send $10 to my address which I'll provide in PM.
  17. First round picks will get more chances than they deserve based on where they were picked. Jeff George, JP Losman, Tommy Maddox, Mike Williams OT, Mike Williams WR, Charles Rogers, Tony Mandarich, Brian Bosworth, David Carr, Erik Flowers, John McCargo, Jafatass Russell and Tim Couch all got more chances than they deserved based on their high pick status. Chances are Maybin will get the preseason to show what he has before he is a greeter at Walmart. Gailey may despise him, but he still has to dance around Russ's giant mistake.
  18. No, not really, Merriman was doing it against Bell who is a LT, Long and Da Brick are LT's. So, Right side.
  19. My 53 man Roster as of Today..... QB (3) Fitz, Thigpen, Brown (I think Levi will show that he has developed a bit in the offseason) TE (2) Chandler, Nelson (I think David Nelson will also see PT here) RB (3) Jackson, Spiller, White FB (1) McIntyre WR (7) Johnson, Evans, Nelson, Parish, Smith, Easley, Jones (Regardless of what you call Brad Smith, he makes the roster. I just prefer to call him a WR) G (3) Levitre, Urbik, Rhinehart (I ultimately think that that Handy will start at RG to start the season with Urbik later on, Wang to PS) T (4) Bell, Pears, Wrotto, Hairston C (2) Wood, Hangartner Total 25 DE (4) Dareus, Edwards, Johnson, Carrington NT (3) Williams, Troup, Jasper OLB (5) Merriman, Kelsay, Coleman, Batten, Moats (I switched Moats back to OLB as I think they are trying to making him a swing LB) ILB (4) Davis, Barnett, Sheppard, Torbor (Torbor is back as I see more value in him than Corto, sorry Orchard Park Alums) CB (5) McGee, Florence, McKelvin, Williams, Corner SS (3) Wilson, Scott, Searcy (Wilson and Scott are versatile enough to cover Free if Byrd isn't the word) FS (1) Byrd Total 25 Special Teams... (3) Moorman, Lindell, Sanborn........ Sanborn does have a challenge this year as well as Lindell Total 53.... FWIW, I can see Maybin getting a spot over Coleman and his 80th second chance with the Bills. Practice Squad: Roosevelt WR, Wang OT, Taua RB, Aiken WR, Cook CB (if not on IR), Rogers CB, Hicks LB
  20. Last year, Maybin was on the field more than anyone in the preseason both in practice and in games. When regular season rolled around, he hadn't done enough to prove that he was capable of handling more than water bottles to teammates. Fact is, he will be given chances due to his top 15 pick status
  21. Yeah, it isn't slow but he isn't a burner either imo.
  22. guys in general Buffalo radio as a whole is terrible. The sports stations DJ's are open in their disdain for Buffalo sports teams, Schopp especially. The "alternative rock" station lost its Edge 10 years, and plays the same 6 bands over and over from the 80's and 90's. The pop station is a pop station, enough said. The country station has a smaller playlist than the rock station. The classic rock station is stuck with the same shtick it had 20 years ago. The urban station has the same call letters as a Success-In-Effect song WBLK (We Be Black) and also catered to Canadian marketers for a long time. and basically every mix station is stuck in the 70's 80's and 90's. In summation, Buffalo radio lacks variety and is stuck 15 years ago instead of playing some talented newer acts (they do exist). Let alone the local music scene suffers from a giant lack of support from these radio stations. There are some great local acts that you never heard of, that are stuck playing at Mohawk Place while you hear promo's left and right for cover bands:wallbash: /rant
  23. McLovin may have value for the team in McGee is not 100%
  24. I am the founding member of the TBD Mike Jasper fan club Large and in Charge. I will accept applications at this point via PM, or bribes.
