  1. according to admins of bb.com Bruce Hall was put on IR, while Corto, Huggings, Kirlew, and Wang are on the Waived/Injured List. buffalobills: Bills released: Hangartner, Hicks, Howard, Jasper, Langley, Miller, S. Nelson, Nesbitt, Roosevelt, Switzer, Watkins, Wrotto D. Aiken, K. Aiken, L. Brown, Caulcrick, Caussin, Coleman, Corner, C. Davis, Dotson, Glover I am surprised that Levi got cut over Pigpen TBH. Naaman over Ruvell Martin, and that Pianalto made the team
  2. and I would have used Andre the Giant specifically for blocking field goals.
  3. He can, and the team he is on can match the offer. At that point, it is up to the player to make his decision where to go. Jasper is one who would have benefitted for the OTA's and minicamps a lot as he was learning a new position essential as he was used on the O-line at Bethel. The Bills drafted him knowing full well that he'll need a lot of work to become an NFLer
  4. While speaking in complete ignorance of the player that Fantuz is, the Bills have a lot of competent NFL caliber bodies at WR. Bringing in another at this stage won't help much.
  5. this shouldn't be a surprise as Dareus, when he first arrived in Buffalo after the draft had to help Ralphie up out of a chair to his walker. So that tends to lead me to believe that Ralph is worse off than many of you believe and there is no way in hell that he plays tennis anymore. That said, I witness a 91 year old man break his age group record for 10k 2 years ago in Lancaster. The Grim Reaper is a B word and will hit you quickly .
  6. sad when NJ governor Chris "I'm very bloated" Christie is asking his own party to stop with the politics to get some FEMA aid for his state. http://www.politico.com/news/stories/0811/62445.html
  7. Everything that would make perfect sense for the NFL to do, they do the exact opposite. Instead of being a customer friendly operation, they find ways to incense the customer. For tonite's game, it may be worthwhile to check out http://myp2p.bz/ for the Lions feed to the game. The NFL like the record and movie industries have failed to adapt with the times and find it best to sue the customers instead of changing with popular demand.
  8. I normally am not in support of a dude slapping around a woman, but Tila Tequila qualifies as an untalented "it".
  9. I think Steroids had a large part of his success along with many of the Gruden/Callahan era Raiders as the clear was helping out Bonds across the Bay at the same time. First name that came to mind Second thing that came to mind. Atlanta/Jerry Glanville was disgusted in Farve, due to alcoholism and lazy work ethic at the time. They gave up on him and traded him in his second season. It is not like he was behind a great QB, he was behind Chris Miller and Billy Joe Tolliver. Welker's original team was San Diego, who cut him after one game in 04 before Miami picked him up. In his 3rd year at Miami, he became a good player, but Miami tendered him low and NE* traded a 2nd and a 7th for him.
  10. yeah but these are regular season tix for the 1st two games. the upper bowl at 17 bucks is a steal, even for those on unemployment which is like 25% of buffalo according to the stats i made up.
  11. actually I noticed moving all over the field against the Bears, and against Jacksonville he was pretty beastly up the middle. The play you cite him being 7 yards down the field he actually held the point of attack pretty well against a double team. He is a classic 0/1 technique player which are hard to find.
  12. I may be a bit biased, but I have a really hard time believing the Bills would expose Mike Jasper on the PS. His potential is greater than Kellen Heard, imo and would have a tough time believing that they would keep a 3rd NT unless it was Jasper.
  13. Show me a preseason game in this country that actually does sell out? Thoner has the analogy perfect regarding the blackout rule. With almost every franchise being subsidized by local, state, and federal grants, the taxpaying fan at home is being shafted. In addition, it is widely regarded that the Rams left LA due to consistent blackouts and a ginormous stadium. The rest of the major sports don't have anywhere near as stingy of blackout policies. Hell even in England, Manchester United never have every seat accounted for and if BBC or ITV refused to show an ITV match the city of Manchester would look like London did a couple weeks ago. The fact is blackouts hurt teams that are struggling more than anything else. It weakens them by alienating their fanbase. On top of that, blacking out preseason games is like arresting the guy who agrees to a date with a hot girl and walks away when her not so attractive sister takes her place halfway through the date.
  14. He actually had 3 last preseason, with 2 of them against Cincy, and 2 the year before. So out of his 6 career preseason sacks, 3 have come against Cincy.
  15. As the founder and president of the Mike Jasper TSW fan club, I approve of this post.
  16. Honestly, Spiller didn't wow me, but I thought he showed good vision on the scoring drive the Bills had in the first half. That said, it was the only drive where the first line didn't get blown up on every play.
  17. This here. Dickless Jauron probably wouldn't have been able to control him and the Bills may have had a better record. So Vick might have saved the jobs of Guy Modrak and Jauron, while we wouldn't have redneck hour with Buddy and Chan, which is more entertaining btw.
  18. To be fair this is the moment when he was drafted and the collective response of the board: http://forums.twobillsdrive.com/topic/45867-official-nfl-draft-day-2006-thread/page__view__findpost__p__674457 It wasn't just Bill.
  19. Yes I recall the stink you made about that pick. Some of the funniest draft meltdownery in TBD history
  20. SDS:worthy: Way to necrobump this thread for comedic reasoning.
