You are correct on all 3 counts there. Especially as the drag racer pointed out there is a difference of speed at different points. Fact of the matter is that a burner such as former Raider James Jett can have awful hands, poor routes, and not enough agility to shake off a good corner. As the Raiders continuously show time and time again, athletic specimens can only get you so far. When push comes to shove, the real question is can they play the game. It is to the point that Raider scouts will add time to a players 40 if they think the player is a bad investment as Crazy Al may draft a sprinter to play WR.

Poll for Fitzpatrick nickname
justnzane replied to DieHardBillsFan's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Grizpatrick actually does work imo, though I voted for Fitzgibbons strictly for the TBD contribution to stupid nicknames, Also bearded bomber sounds like a description for Bin Laden more than a QB nickname. -
I disagree with the notion that Allen wasn't fast, he did hold an NCAA record for 45 meter hurdles or some odd indoor distance like that at one point. He may not have had Chris Johnson speed, but he definitely had a bit more speed and was a bigger home run threat than Freddy imo.

it wasn't him being a bad tackler, he took very poor angles at tackling. He understood coverage over run support when he came in and now has a more balanced understanding of the game and position. Mind you he played a good amount of corner in college.

Rich, it is a shame I am cash strapped this year and won't be attending the opener/TBD tailgate. But man, that was beautiful enough that I would have brought you a case of the finest brew in the state.

Byrd especially, he was all over the field making plays. They did use Scott as a Nickel Backer FWIW. (not to be confused with a Nickel back). Say what you want about Whitner as slightly above average to the worst safety ever, but he never controlled parts of a game like Byrd did Sunday.

note that the OP also put it in during the preseason. Now that the bullets are flying, one can see that he is what we thought he is.

well that should be expected as Fergie is void of any actual talent as evidenced by her "solo career" Including this version?

this. He finished his 5th year of service as a Bill, not his 6th as previously stated

+1 with revisionist history as I was too young, and Ashcroft was a Bush crony put into a position of power shortly after -

Interesting column on LA getting an NFL team
justnzane replied to RunTheBall's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
AEG should not be able to own as many teams as it does. To allow them to control an NFL franchise, I believe, perpetuates the idea that a corporation can act as a person does. Give me a Wilson, Mara, Rooney, Jones, Kraft, Snyder, Brown, Wilf, Hunt or Debartolo anyday over a conglomerate hellbent on monopolizing entertainment. -

Name the top 7 players on the roster

The rest of this list is fine by me, but Avatar lacked originality in storyline. It was a direct ripoff of Pocahontas. Want proof look at this picture While the special effects were indeed mind blowing the movie itself was a complete steal of another thus should never be considered an all-time great flick, especially ahead of Casablanca, The Godfather II, Forrest Gump, Rocky, American Gangster, Star Wars Ep. 4, or the original Planet of the Apes. -

ouch as a former CSEA memeber, I would have to be inclined to agree with you. That union needs to loosen up job descriptions/responsibilities, and enforce the rules in place to get rid of lazy workers. I had many peers and bosses that were protected despite hiding in offices, basements, and dorm rooms. There was one guy that was a sexual predator that scoped out freshman girls in plain view from a moving van and it took an act of god for him to be removed that position. -
http://msn.foxsports.com/nfl/story/nfl-best-looking-team-buffalo-bills-worst-looking-team-kansas-city-chiefs-090711 In others Chan and Ralph actually contribute to the Bills sex appeal, while the Chefs are the ugliest team. So in other words, the pretty boy Bills will slaughter the uggo's this week.

After reading this continuous pissing contest, all I have to say is holy **** JW/NGU "Everybody Love Everybody"- Jackie Moon. Just coexist with each other. PM each other and hash out what you need to privately. Crayonz, kudos for combining your intelligence and faux trollery together beautifully -

+1 The cheating also helped. The Patriots don't become the team they are if Tom Brady was as good of a player as Jan Brady. That said, memory has it that the Bills did take a very serviceable safety in a similar situation back in 2003. The guy gave the Bills 3 solid seasons and was in the league through last season. Now why would Beel Bellycheck give up on a Lawyer Milloy or a Meriwether? My point is the guy is not infallable -
