  1. This is a rare occasion where my bleeding heart is in agreement with Darin. Hell, even in England, certain jurisdictions found that it was cheaper to put junkies in a halfway house and GIVE them drugs than it was to incarcerate them. The drug laws force our gov't to spend way too much on enforcement, while incentivizing the cartels at the mexican border and the british columbian growers. More lax drug laws would keep more money from escaping our country while encouraging the decreasment of enforcement and prisons. Furthermore, we can tax the hell out of this to reverse the dent the drug trade takes on our gubmint. Big Buff, cna you please elaborate on your experiences of smoking pot?
  2. FWIW I'd consider Batten an OLB in 4-3 as he'd be closer to ideal size for that position and less ideal as a DE.
  3. http://www.wgrz.com/video/1505386302001/1/RAW-Video-Mario-Williams-with-Bills-Management-in-Buffalo Mario Williams walking into Tempo downtown with management.
  4. http://www.ea.com/madden-nfl/1/covervote?easid=opm_madden_covervote_extpromo Bills reps are Stevie and Fitz. Some of the teams reps are laughable such as Gabbert, and Locker, Raiders with their punter and kicker, Thugshawn in Seattle, Vick and Rapelisberger as well. So vote for the person you want to see affected by the curse
  5. per text from Bills too! Holy crap we actually retained talent. to Buddy
  6. this is actually a very common concept among pro soccer teams in europe, Real Madrid and FC Barcelona are two of the most notable examples, but there are some other major teams that are publicly owned as well. The NFL doesn't like the idea of having to answer many, when it could answer to a few, which is evidenced by the lack of adequate officating.
  7. this and he would translate over to a DT in a 4-3 where we are set imo
  8. As someone who is in the education field, there are few things here that I found pretty odd about this article. The kid is 15 years old and still in middle school, meaning he is either special ed or been held back a couple times. In either case, the kid is a vulnerable one and the teacher is wrong. When I first had a full-time teaching job at the age of 24, I had high school students try to hit on me, but I was comfortable enough with myself to not stoop so low. However, I can understand how easy it is to screw up like that. There is a certain professionalism that some do not possess right out of college, and in some cases later in life. The saddest thing is that some glamourize these women for their flaws as humans, when they should be shunned upon. Especially in cases like this, where the teacher is definitely attractive, she easily could have picked up a guy of legal age instead of a teen. She deserves her punishment.
  9. I have been holding on to my Super Bowl 25 Champs banner since 1991. There have been a few thin times financially where I had considered putting it up on Ebay.
  10. well that is why you pray to the devil for Brady
  11. buddy ryan trumps rexie by quite a bit. Until Rex goes out of his to injure a kicker by putting a bounty on his head, he will always be Buddy Lite.
  12. after two injury plagued, and lackluster seasons w/ STL, he was brought in to groom Eli. Well, he did well enough that Eli didn't see the field much. The Giants were in the hunt there. He then went to Arizona to do the same thing for Leinart. He wasn't meant to be the guy in Zona. Leinart was too much of a limp wristed nancy and Warner took over that team.
  13. RE: Kurt Warner: Let's not get facts in the way of your argument. When he went to the Giants, he had them in the heart of the playoff hunt before they "decided" that Eli was ready. With Eli, their season tanked. His first two seasons and Arizona weren't all that good either, but his last 3 years were. http://www.pro-footb.../W/WarnKu00.htm
  14. Guys the crux of the issue is that we pay taxes for a stadium for them to use. We subsidize them, and they make the majority of their money off of TV revenue. The local affiliates get screwed over when a game gets blacked out as well. If we subsidize each of these companies, they should have no right to completely shut out the public in the form of a black out. The NFL at most loses $20million/year due to unsold seats while they easily make that up in television contracts. It is criminal to suggest that everyone can afford $100/ticket, drink, food, and parking in these hard economic times. Thus the NFL really should learn to treat its customers better, much like MSG should. /rant
  15. True, as the Bills generate income for you Hammer 8-)
  16. You are thinking Tampa 2 scheme. That is so not what I would want as far as 4-3 schemes. The Bills and the lucky charms have been too small and easily pushed around since they started employing that scheme. The Bills leaving that scheme was the best thing for them as it failed to stop the run.
  17. I know he came out of the closet last year, but he came out of college two years ago, and out of the priests quarters 10 years ago
  18. To be fair, the gunners this year were less than stellar. That matters a lot too if they can get to the ball in adequate time, There were a number of times where the ball was up long enough and the gunners didn't get it this year. This is also known as Ruvell Martin was unworthy of a roster spot.
  19. Part of the reason I hate the NFL right now, I was laid off from teaching in Georgia 2.5 years ago, and have been subbing and getting my masters since. So, I have been making ~$10,000/yr while at this point working 3 jobs. I know I am not the typical demographic for who the NFL would ever try to attract at this point and time, but I couldn't even afford to take off work at job #3 this year to watch a Bills game live. With the NFL's greed, it is no wonder why my generation is resorting to downloading torrents of the blacked out games.
  20. however they won how many games that Tebow started? To everyone in Tgreg's camp, normally I would agree that you should be pass heavy in this NFL. However, once Freddie went down, it was pretty obvious that the opposing defenses keyed on the pass and dared the Bills to run. When CJ started running efficiently, Gailey should have ran the ball more, especially with the other teams playing pass far more often. Also, they should have ran more of a west coast scheme heavier on rollouts over a spread scheme to change the dimension of the field to support the receivers' ability to get open. Gailey deserves a lot of blame for not adjusting his scheme in game enough to compensate for personnel flaws.
  21. As President of Large and in Charge, I can say w/ 95% confidence Mr. Leslie Mike Jasper didn't play an offensive or defensive snap yesterday. If he had received extensive offensive and defensive field time, CJ Spiller would have ran for 200 yards on his limited amount of carries, he would have kept Stevie from pulling up his shirt, and Tom Brady would have hidden behind the official until both were crushed by Mount Jasper.
  22. easy, Mariucci, and the fact that he coached at Detroit only diminished his accomplishments at San Fran.
