  1. Well they have gotten Michael Brockers, Zac Stacy, Janoris Jenkins and Alec Ogletree consequentially from the RG3 trade. That isn't terrible all things considered, but not quite what San Diego pulled off on the Ron Mexico trade.
  2. I lived in Atlanta for a couple years during the whole Vick scandal, and was completely apathetic to them, much like most of the area. UGA has more sway down there. Be that as it may, I wasn't a UB fan until I coached a couple kids who have been recruited to play for them, so I enjoyed drinking beers with my neighbors while watching games down there. As a math teacher, I have huge appreciation for that reference.
  3. ...or Lucious Pusey. I do maintain that Boobie Dixon is just a great name for a T-job
  4. I'm sorry, it is simple: Boobie Dixon. With that name, you could be a porn star and a running back
  5. Goodbye Doug, we hardly could watch you http://scottishsiren...dle-for-gus.jpg
  6. Buddy or Russ hired Marrone. I can't saddle that on Whaley.
  7. I disagree with the scouts as we have done well with our later picks and UDFA's as well as low level FA's. The problem is that we screw up with middle tier FA's, coaches (as you said), and bad picks with our 1st rounders, ie Spiller when we had Lynch and FJax, or trading away next year's #1 when our team sucks.
  8. Ouch,Football in McGloin Honestly, he is not bad for a 2nd year UFA.
  9. per bills app as well I was surprised that he got cut. I thought he was more imprressive than some of the receivers clinging to life on the roster
  10. So both Clowns QB's have looked awful. So glad that we didn't draft Johnny Wiffleball
  11. Taking out the exits for the arena and stadiums while putting a semi open stadium near the lake just seems like a bad idea to me. I am not a fan of downtown stadium. I'd rather have a shared dome in Amherst with UB. A few NFL teams do this, Tampa, SD, NO, Tennessee, Atlanta, and Pittsburgh. It seems like it would be common sense as both stadia need replacing, and would be a reasonable alteration to the UB2020 plan.
  12. Yeah, athletics is a cruel mistress. Too many great athletes end their careers prematurely, and football is very unforgiving unfortunately. Too bad, he was a good RB for Jersey A.
  13. That was pretty tough to read... That said, almost every team keeps more defensive players than offensive due to ST value. I can't see 4RB's 1FB and 3TE's on the roster all at once. 9 OL's is high as well.
  14. ...either I have to stop smoking pot, because I thought this guy was saying that we should be trading for a QB when we don't have a #1 next year or the OP needs to give me some of what he is smoking so I can be pleasantly delusional.
  15. What screws Hull over is that he stopped going to Pro Bowls once Bruce Mathews got moved inside. 3 Pro Bowls won't look favorably to voters.
  16. During Ted's era, you have to compare him to Kennedy, Sapp, and Randle who played DT as well, but were able to disrupt the passing game which created more appealing stats. Ted will be unappreciated because his job was to occupy blockers as opposed to getting tackles and sacks. Another disadvantage is that he will be perceived as one-dimensional in his game where as the previously mentioned DT's could stop the run or attack the QB.
  17. exactly my thoughts. Ruben will a serious look with 9 pro bowls to his credit. Polian should be in sooner than later with his achievements between buffalo, carolina, and indy.
  18. Ted was a great player, but he was very good, not legendary as far as NFL terms go. In order to be a HOF'er you need a prolonged period of dominance. 4 years of pro-bowl caliber play is generally not enough to get one in. Ruben Brown stands a better chance, imo.
  19. Great speech. Polian is next Bill to get in, imo
  20. Even Irvin appreciated it. Why isn't Aeneas Williams on TV over people that can't speak audibly, such as Irvin?
  21. So, over/under on end time 1 am?
  22. He did, I don't about anyone else, but it seems like today's practice just lacked some intensity. The receivers impressed from what I saw including Watkins winning a jump ball today on a go route.
