  1. Yes, it killed me too. I still wonder if the others were afraid to correct Rather, in the same light people would be afraid to correct Cronkite in a bar room discussion.
  2. Now, you don't see most libs (besides pBills, and Rolling Stone) making McCain jokes in such a bad taste.
  3. Yeah, actually, I found both of them. Word is that you are still looking for yours j/k
  4. What he said, and make it fun for the kids. They are young and don't need to hate the game at such a young age. I can't believe I actually agreed with Darin
  5. Rather said Osama instead of Obama, and the other people didn't correct him.
  6. touche, you did what Darin and OCin couldn't do. I will agree with you that them two are scumbag racists for their own cause. Thank you, you saved a long response to OCin's post.
  7. I have to take away a man card from ya, as no self-respecting man watches E!
  8. ... when it promotes a racist agenda, yeah it is worse. Show me a clip, besides the Dan Rather slipup, where one of the "liberal media" promotes a racist agenda and i'll shut up.
  9. Oh please, keep attacking me instead talking about the real issue .
  10. Which we got for Darwin Walker, who we traded Holcomb and Takeo for. So really, we got rid out Holcomb, Takeo, and McBadknee for Stroud and Edwards. Since Holcomb and McBadknee weren't welcome presences here. the trade really goes Takeo for Stroud and Edwards
  11. NE has to use Welker as their #2 this year, so McLovin will only match up on Welker if he is starting (by earning it or injury) or when they go to 3 wide sets, as you know they will put Welker in at slot in those situations.
  12. You mean like when we would have Aiken and Reed on the field in the I formation on first and 10
  13. You mean another game where Bellycheck stole our signals . Cuz that would a lot to do with what play they would call. Or would you prefer to say that he "misinterpreted the rules?"
  14. Good for the kids. Just getting my bachelors completely finished in May, I was so relieved the last couple semesters, when I observed and student taught, because I didn't have to buy books. There was one semester where I spent $1400 on math books only to use 1 for each class (the fyou smiley would have been better). You know that it doesn't cost the publishers $300 for a 500 page book on math, and you sure as hell know that there is not a huge difference from edition to edition. This is the exploitation of college kids' pocketbooks. So, yeah there is a good reason for the students to pirate the books instead of paying $300 for something you may never use after you are done with the course.
  15. I would still say that Sharpe belongs in before Carter, as he was the premier WR in that division until his neck injury. You could also argue for a number of years that Herman Moore was better than Carter, thus making him #3 in his own division. Carter's numbers are a tad inflated from being in a pass happy system at minnesota. By your numbers argument, you would be saying that Tim Brown also belongs in, when he wasn't that premier receiver in his conference either.
  16. oops i thought it was six. But even so, Carter was good, but definitely not a first ballot HOF'er. Out of his era, Rice, Reed, and Sterling Sharpe were definitely better players than him, and Irvin is already in from his era.
  17. Gotta love Cito You as a Bills fan should understand what it is to cheer for a team that is perenially unsuccessful, and in general sturggles compared to the big market teams. Also, a little thing called fan loyalty, another thing a Bills fan should understand better than most anyone else.
  18. Yes, he would do fine until he starting selling bowls or starts hitting on the 16 year old girls
  19. ... moments like this make me wish I had cable ... one more month till payday
  20. ... another cocky Yankee fan . I am Jays fan, and proud to admit it. Now, what usually pisses me off is that (a lot of) Yankee fans always rub it in when they are doing well, and hate to get ribbed on when they are losing. It was said round here that rooting for the Yankees is like rooting for Microsoft and Halliburton to make more money.
  21. +1. I would have said pretty much the same thing.
  22. Well, you are right, however those networks aren't propaganda machines to the extent that Fox is. The anchors for Fox would probably be ousted off of those other networks when they display their intolerance towards certain groups. Rupert Murdoch allows such one sided reporting to occur only when it supports the side he believes in. The lack of journalistic integrity at Fox News pollutes the airwaves and encourages such a horrible agenda. If CNN, NBC, and company had such a racist agenda, I would say the same thing about them.
