  1. He didn't say "Pro Bowl caliber" he said "PB caliber". "PB" could mean "Peanut Butter", for example.
  2. All Houston really got for the pick is the right to negotiate a contract with Moulds outside of the bidding war which would have sprung up after the Bills cut him. Even if cutting Moulds wasn't a foregone conclusion, the consensus around the league is that it was so a 5th round pick is about the best compensation the Bills could have gotten for him. Something is always better than nothing.
  3. Yes, several in fact. They're called the Eagles Cheerleaders.
  4. I seem to remember a certain Mike Williams putting on an impressive display at his pro day workout. He knew when to exert himself to get the $$$.
  5. Don't forget Mike Williams, though his play makes it hard not to.
  6. What would you rather have, a defense that gives the offense time to work or an offense that gives the defense time to rest? IMHO, the Bills cannot afford to weaken the defense further for the sake of the offense.
  7. Huff is probably going to be a cornerback in the NFL; he tackles like a girl.
  8. I wouldn't be surprised if they did take linemen with the majority of the picks. The Bills are in pretty good shape in terms of skill positions, it's time to focus on the trenches.
  9. Oy vey...another Irish QB, in more ways than one.
  10. I could be wrong, but I don't think Dick Jauron was responsible for signing any players in Chicago; that task fell to their GM. The GM that hired Jauron was inept and the GM who replaced him didn't like Jauron because Dick wasn't "his" guy. I think the career paths of the men who quarterbacked the Bears during Jauron's tenure speaks volumes; they could give the Tidy Bowl man a run for his money.
  11. Why not? Wasn't Drew Brees still on the Chargers' roster when they picked Eli Manning? Why would a team trade away its #1 or #2 quarterback before they're certain that their preferred quarterback is even available to pick? The Chargers actually had that luxury but still didn't take advantage of it.
  12. What's wrong with a Buffalo wing?
  13. It's probably because he couldn't stop talking about Favre's tight red shorts.
  14. Excellent point. It takes a good team to appear in the Super Bowl and the quarterback of a good team is going to get Pro Bowl consideration, even over better quarterbacks on lesser teams.
  15. If you want to know whether the Bills take Ngata or Bunkley, just look at what they have on hand. What kinds of DTs are Tripplett, Edwards, Anderson and Sape: hole-pluggers or penetrators? The only hole-plugger in that bunch is Anderson so I think the Bills are either taking Ngata or another hole-plugger in a later round.
  16. RJ got hit so much because he took too long to make a decision and, despite his mobility, tended to stand in place while he considered it. I think he either wasn't very bright or was numb to pain.
  17. I think Marv is going to favor defensive players as he's indicated that he'd rather have a strong defense that gives a bad offense time to work as opposed to having a strong offense that gives a bad defense time to rest. I think he's learned from past experience.
  18. Good point. I'm more impressed with WRs who make so-so quarterbacks look good.
  19. I'm disappointed that the Steelers apparently showed no interest in him, though, as they supposedly wanted to draft him. As far as I know, their defensive line is intact so that may have something to do with it.
  20. Being that Marv actually coached some really good NFL players, he should be a damn sight better than Donahoe at judging whether a player has what it takes to be good in the NFL.
  21. Yes...That's a good one.
  22. Being undersized and considering his speed, Parrish may be better wide where he'll rarely be covered by a linebacker.
  23. Do those include the missionary position?
  24. Yes; Reed will be our wiley vet.
