CV bearhugged the defender. Textbook holding.

Whether he wants him traded now or after the season this post is a not so veiled fan's way of lynching a specific player who made a mistake. It is getting to be a little regoddarndiculous with all the trade this guy and that guy posts. I thought people had some sense here, but wanting to trade a guy because of one mistake? That is so wrong.
-
I'm laughing my ass off at these "we need to trade so and so" posts. First, this is not baseball and second, we have only played ONE GAME for god sakes! C'mon people, get over the Jag loss and get real. No one's getting traded during the season.

Will this team have a tipping point? Will the collective light finally turn on in all of the talented Bill veteren's heads where they figure it all out and knock off 8 wins in a row? Or will it become obvious that the only light at the end of the tunnel is a couple years down the road with Losman, McGahee and Evans. Also, does anybody recall what game the tipping point of the Superbowl Bills teams was? I recall a Viking game were Thurman became the man. I think that was the season we lost to Cleveland in the playoffs.

Rantings of a dissappointed fan
1billsfan replied to Mike in Syracuse's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I wasn't at the game. But we as fans have every right to feel impeding doom when it comes to Bills games. MCM, Jet's OT kickoff return for a touchdown, now this. Any phsychologists out there? It becomes a self-fullfilling prophocey and I think the crowd enthusiasm is waned by these very real thoughts. The only way we get out of this malaise is for this team to go on a tear, beating some very good teams in the process. Losing like this hurts all Bills fans, but we should all remember the creed of this team. Never ever ever give up. -
Hey look at me I made a tackle!!
1billsfan replied to HelloNewman's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
You're saying he can't control himself? How does he stay behind the line of scrimmage? How does he carry out his assignments if he is so uncontrollable? You're crazy if you think his dance is a sudden release of adreneline and not for self-aggrandisement purposes. -

Oh please! You can't really believe that crap, can you? We are not talking about a sudden jumping up and down. They are running 10, 20 yards down the field to do it!!! As long as they act immature I will expect immature play from them, which is what we got Sunday. -
Who has the best "Look at me dance while we choke
1billsfan replied to ACor58's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Just think how assanine they feel in the film room today having your teamates watch your dance fever moves during a 10-6 game. Now that's something I can chuckle about today. The Patriots don't even dance that much! And look at what the've accomplished. Try winning a game first, fools. They want to be then new bullies on the block but are looking more like the new kids on the block. -
Anyone else think that Parcels is
1billsfan replied to Nick in RaChaCha's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
If you knew anything about Parcels, he's not in Dallas for the long term. In other words, he'll be out the door before the benefits of next year's first rounder are harvested. BTW, ONE FREAKIN GAME AND WE'RE GOING TO FINISH BOTTOM FIVE IN THE LEAGUE??????? Wow, step away from the bong brother. -

I agree with the original poster. I was getting sick of the posing and prancing going on in that game. It's immature and childish. Could you imagine Jack Ham or Mean Joe Greene doing such things? Can you just high five your teamates (who helped put you in that position) and focus on the next play please? -
Then go on and cry, you crybaby. Bust on the Jags all you want but they are just as much a contender as the Broncos, Chiefs, Jets, Titans, Ravens and anyone else not named the Patriots (who are locks to be good). The Jags have one hell of a defense and a playmaker in the making a la McNair. If what you think you learned was that the Bills lost to a bad team then you need to go back to school.
-
Of course they can beat the Raiders. Looking at both rosters I think we have a better defense and a better running game. However, it is the Raiders home opener and they are 0-1 just like us. It has all the makings for a very good game. The Bills do have a knack for winning these type of games (when you least expect a road win). I just hope our players and coaching staff can become smarter in a weeks time.
-
The next time the Bills are in this position I will give Jerry Gray a standing ovation if he blitzes a DB or a couple linebackers and gets burned for a TD. I will say thank you for at least trying to win the game.
-
I saw the game and thought the refs did a good job. The final play was not in question at all as far as I'm concerned. We got beat by a smarter, more physical team.
-
You forgot not being able to punch it in from the 2 when it was 1st and goal, Valari's penalty and Clement's brain freeze as causes for the loss. These happened when the game was on the line and can not be ignored. I still can't believe we didn't score a touchdown from the freakin TWO YARD LINE! I'm sorry, I'm just not as appologetic as some here. One last thing...please put McGahee in, not Henry, on goal line offense.
-
You're correct. I think it all comes down to the fact that the coaches have no confidence in the line's ability to protect the QB. The offense needs to really sell the fake handoffs and send the ball downfield at least three times a game. I would like 5 times myself, but after the clammering for "running the ball on every play" from the Bills media and fan outlets, I'm not surprised about Malarkey's ultraconservative approach. If the line can't protect Drew, the point is moot anyways.
-
Villarial gave the guy a bear hug that resulted in McGahee getting the first down. That penalty killed them. You have a choice, tackle the opponent commiting an obvious penalty, or doing your best within the rules and at least have an attempt for a 36 yrd field goal to give your team a 7 point lead. Very bad choice. Hopefully they will learn from this.
-
Kicker misses an easy 41 yard kick. Player's hot potato approach to ball handling. The QB not delivering the touchdown pass to the wide open fullback on third down. Holding penalty that takes the team out of field goal range that would have made the lead 7 in the final minutes. No coffin-corner on the subsequent punt. Prevent defense...never give a desparate QB all day to throw on the last drive. Why do teams do this? We so deserved this loss, and I hope Malarkey and this team learned this is how you lose football games. As tough as it was to digest, maybe this loss can be a learning experience for everybody in the organization. If this team does not stop doing these things they will be average at best.

His agent must be a four letter word to him.
-
He's much better than Manning and look at what Manning is making! Brady got smacked around pretty good a couple of times so you never know when that one play could come and effect your earning potential. Do the Pats have a spell on the players? Or is Brady THAT loyal? We're talking he's being payed at least 80 million less in his current contract than he should be making.
-
he makes less money than Jake Delhomme!
-
As Levy would always preach, turnovers are the key stat to ever game. Luckily Henry has improved in that area. My focus must now turn from this train wreck Colt finish to the Jags/Bills game. Lets go Buffalo!
-
Still do not know how in the world McGinnest was left unblocked. For every great play Manning makes he makes some serious game killing plays. Have some pocket awareness you damn hillbilly! Pats can be beat with a good running game with no turning the ball over. Sound like a gameplan? You betcha!

ICE's concern about Reed is warranted until he show's he's starting material which he did not do last season. Heck, Bledsoe and the starting line are in the same boat as far as us fans waiting to see who can play. I hope they all play well this Sunday.
