Gray needs to become a more known quantity before he gets serious offers to become a HC. That means we will not lose him until the Bills are on the national stage kicking butt...and that means getting into the playoffs next season (yes possibly this season too) so that everyone is aware of who he is and how great he's done coaching the Bills defense. You have to remember that with most coaching hires there is an element to get someone that people "know" at least to appease the fan base and help sell tickets for a team in a disaster situation. I know that shouldn't be a factor but it is. I think we lose him in a couple of years.

You be dat sucker! Apparently you haven't seen the transformation this team has undergone. They are a better than the Bengals and have the maturity and determination to beat a good team like the Bengals on the road. One other thing before you place your "sucker" bet. The Bengals were basically eliminated and may suffer a letdown. The Bills will not be letting down any time soon.

They will not be losing to the Niners and the Steelers would be very hard pressed to beat a dominating Bills team in Buffalo on a 7 game winning streak. This game is HUUUUGE!

We can't afford to not have Moulds next season. For a player that is as intrical to the Bills offensive success as Moulds is, I don't think that 6 or 7 million is too bad. Yes 8 million is a little overboard, so he should shave a million or two off to help out the team but lets not pretend we can replace him. Does anyone remember how our offense played after Price was gone? Moulds needs to be paid like the top receiver that he is in this league. How much do you think he's worth as a cap hit next season?

Well with the Giants pathetic offensive line woes Eli had better turn into his father pretty quickly. I remember my days as a young pup watching this guy named Archie Manning get his ass kicked when he wasn't throwing touchdown passes. Eli looks like a lost boy and going against these killer defenses will no doubt make him seem like a bust. Fast forward to next season, ANY carry over of bad play on Manning's part and the bright lights of New York will start to fry him. He simply was not ready this season. You mention the exceptions to the rule with your list of QBs. That's the funny thing about exceptions, it is not the norm and comes about only on rare occasions. File that in your clue box.

Yeah but throw him out there when he's not ready? You don't set a rookie QB up for failure like they are doing without possibly ruining his psyche. I'm just glad our guy will sit till he's truly ready. As a side note, I like Losman's demeaner a whole lot better when compared to Mannings. Eli seems real slow in the brain department when he talks.

Last two weeks he's had the Eagles, Washington's defense to contend with. Next up is the Ravens and Steelers... I think the Giants might be ruining this guy before his career even starts. Moulds did not have Jim Kelly throwing him the football. He's had the likes of Todd Collins, Billy Joe Hobert, Alex Van Pelt and Rob Johnson and numerous coaching and offensive coordinator changes to drag his numbers down. Yet still he's on pace to be in the same ball park as Reed's numbers. To say he's not even close is not giving Moulds the credit he deserves. Sometimes a player is only as good as the situation he plays in during a specific time frame. You can not tell me Reed would have had the same career if the situations were reversed. IMO, not even close as you put it.

WTF is your beef with Eric Moulds?????? He's been the only rock solid player the Bills have had since the Superbowl days. If he has 7 more seasons (equaling Reed's years) with the Bills he will come awfully close to Reed's numbers and that is with sub-level QBs throwing to him. Butler???? Please dude, Eric's numbers are double that of Jerry's. Please, don't make a fool of yourself trashing an all time Bill great like Moulds. Aint gonna happen on my watch dude.
