  1. Power rankings should be about ranking the teams from best to worst. What part of that does Vic not get. The Eagles are a team that has a bloated record from being in the NFC least division and conference who can't even get to the Superbowl. The Pats are a 2 time champ. Vic is an idiot once again. Last week he had the Vikings ranked higher than the Bills!
  2. How about having Blue Oyster Cult perform at halftime?
  3. Eagles 2nd, Patriots 4th????? Is Vic on meds? The Eagles play in a crappy division, a crappy conference, and just lost TO. Sorry Vic, but I think you've lost it.
  4. So you like crybaby QBs? You must have loved Ryan Leaf. Pennington was told he wasn't all that and got his feelings hurt. Well welcome to New York Chadwick. Real QBs step up to the plate and take the blame when they stink on any given Sunday. I'm sure those reporters did not feel priviledged to witness his stink bomb against the Steelers. What his real problem is that everyone knows that Carter can throw the deep ball and he can't.
  5. Keep up the festivus spirit!
  6. I'm sorry, didn't your team lose to the Miami Dolphins last night? and your talking smack today????.............
  7. Well I guess we don't have to wait too long till your proven wrong. Tell me you don't see a team that is on a mission here. If they get in, I could see them ripping a hole in the AFC playoff series. I don't think that's so far fetched.
  8. Wrong! How about the priviledge to play starting quarterbak in the NFL???? And not sound like a baby when you get criticized by the people who's "JOB" it is to both criticize and pat players on the back!!!!
  9. You got it. Hard to disagree, huh?
  10. Buffalo could do it. They are the best "team" in the NFL.
  11. Better yet, I was thinking they should use him as a blocking back for Willis. Smashmouth, heads and bodies. Aint no one going to get to Willis with that semi truck coming at them full speed.
  12. Houston kicked the crap out of them in the first game. I think they'll be within stiking distance in the fourth.
  13. Look at what the Cardinals did to the Vikings last season. I think that teams that are out of it do like to spoil other teams seasons. I think that neither the Texans or the Raiders are panzy enough to lay down for the Jags. Hey, whatever happens happens. I'd still take a 10-6 record with no playoffs.
  14. He was lecturing the New York media on how they don't know how to do their jobs. He really seemed deeply scared by reporters who criticized his bad QB play. Someone talking level headed was about the last thing I took away from seeing that press conference.
  15. Smoke much? Ricky Williams is that you?
  16. Don't wanna be an American idiot.
  17. What a genious. Could he possible come up with an angle beyond the obvious? I'm sure one of our crack posters had that scoop after the Pack failed to come up with the onsides kick.
  18. Sounded more like a psycho to me...almost Ryan Leaf like. This kind of stuff tends to snowball. C'mon Jests, just crumble already.
  19. I swear it's like they've turned into a local Philly station or something with this pregame show.
  20. Mmmmmmegan. Why do they pile on the makeup like that? It looks foolish and fake.
  21. Yeah right, and all the Vikings had to do was beat the Cardinals at the end of last season. There's a reason why they play the games and Jacksonville is no juggernaut by any means. Also a plus, I think that the Texans and Raiders will not be laying down on us. I see both these teams as relishing the roll of the spoiler. They will bring it to the Jags and I forsee a devestating loss for them. The Texans will getting a lot of love on this board this week.
  22. Mike has picked the Bills something like 4 or 5 weeks in a row in his football pick battle with Maddog. He was busting on Maddog for having had the Vikes giving 3 points to the Lions. Funny stuff.
  23. ...bullied by the Texans. Posted on the Houston Texans message board about the their chances this week against the Jags: "It's funny that so many Texan fans undersell their teams chances and hype the opposition. The Jags put their jock on one leg at a time. They beat the Bears at home by 19 a week ago, the Texans beat the Bears on the road by 19 yesterday. That was a big win for the Jags yesterday, but the Pack has been Jekyll and Hyde at home all season. That was their 4th loss at Lambeau this year. The Texans beat up the Jags so badly in week 8, they left town crying about dirty play. The Jags crying about dirty play. I don't think Gaffney drops the ball before crossing the goal line this time. I don't think AJ fumbles in FG range, either. The defense is playing better than they have all season. So is Domanick. I'm not nervous at all, I'm looking forward to an AFC South war. And the Texans are one team that won't back down to the Jags' bully tatics." Anybody see this game?
  24. There's a BIG difference between mini camps/pre-season games and regular season games. Losman could look like Johnny U. and it still would mean diddly poo when the time comes for real games. JP will be a real nice option on the bench next season if Bledsoe falters. There is NO WAY he beats out Bledsoe based on mini camps and pre season.
