I was talking in relation to what the Patriots have accomplished these last few years. The Patriots deserve their lofty status. Regular season means nothing when you get to this level of the playoffs. The Steelers whipping the Pats this season was as much an anomoly as the Bills doing it in 2003. The Steelers acting all hurt here is beyond comprehension. They are SO LUCKY it's them and not the Jets. The Pats are a much much better than the Steelers and Bills, time to get over it.

Bledsoe showed everyone how competitive he is with the effort against Pittsburg. He's just not a competitive QB. Not only is he not competitive, he costs us games by his play. I was in his corner until the Pitt game. I'm sorry, but what are we really risking putting in Losman? The rewards are much greater than the alternative. Having Bledsoe fumble, get sacked, or throw a mind boggeling interception against second stringers at home is something I don't wish to ever see again. He blew it and not even his team mates are coming to his defense. We're all hoping that Losman will be ready and performs above our low expectations. We have seen what Bledsoe is capable of and what happens when he faces adversity. It's not pretty and I think that Pittsburg may have done us a favor by handing them that embarrassing defeat.

Your Travis Henry evaluation is absurd. Donahoe has even gone on record that he isn't "giving" him away. This means he's either getting fair value (4th or 5th round is laughable) or he's going to keep him. Not every NFL team throws to it's runningback or are looking for multi-dimensional players for that matter. The Bills don't even throw to their runningbacks.

I think the best case scenario is that Bledsoe comes to terms with the prospect of losing his job to JP, steps up to the plate and accepts the challenge and the paycut. Thus setting up Bledsoe in the same roll he served with Brady. The dude's gonna cost us whether he's on the roster or not, and I'd rather have him than any journeyman we'd get anyways.

I think the Bills will get a 2nd round pick for Henry. I'm confused why you're arguing that Henry isn't an elite back like the Martin. I know this. The whole point was to reason why a team would want Henry for a 2nd round pick. I'm not sure you fully got this concept. Dillon was traded for a 2nd round pick because he was seen as washed up and a mental case. If he were being traded today it would be for a 1st rounder. Time will tell who's right.

I'd like to know how you know this inside information. I follow as much Bills news as possible and have never come across Modraks feelings on any player currently in the organization. As for the Bills player roster, I think it is one of the best collections of talent in the league. Hard to get on Modrak here.

I've never understood why people here were scoffing at the idea of getting a #2 pick for Travis. Round 2 picks are no where near sure things (and we as Bills fans should know that by now). So why wouldn't teams start lining up for a deal that would get them a proven runningback that runs like a bull, has a chip on his shoulder and costs dirt cheap.
