  1. He's going to be on Mike and the Mad Dog show today (WFAN NYC). These two knuckleheads haven't been shy about their feelings of Kelly not deserving to be in the HOF. I think Kelly once confronted Mad Dog on it. Should be interesting.
  2. Roger Staubach was an awesome quaterback. I don't think he's ever really has received his just due.
  3. Cold Pizza just had a spokeswoman on from Playboy TV. I'd rather watch her than college hoop highlights anyday. I was just a little suprised since we are supposedly in the puritan times after the Janet Jackson, Nicolette Sheridan episodes. American media is confusing. So it's now ok to promote hot chicks that take it all off?
  4. How about Walter Jones. I hope TD is thinking offensive line in free agency, we have enough corners.
  5. About as immature and insane as saying that Steve McNair was never one of the best QBs in the league. Try he was one of the best 4 years in a row starting with the 2000 season. You saying that McNair is not clutch is really what's lunacy. He made a freaking career out of being clutch QB!
  6. I didn't say he would have. I was arguing hypothetically that having a HOF QB who never won the big one is never as big as having a QB that one it twice who will never get in.
  7. As I said before you seem to know little about football. What you do know you probably learned from ESPN and Fox Sports. In a playoff game I would take a healthy Steve McNair over Manning, Farve and Vick any day of the week. I would take him over all three for the whole season if I knew he would be healthy. I'm not looking for a player based on if he will get into the Hall of Fame. Who would you rather have? A Jim Kelly HOFer but winless in the big one, or a Jim Plunkett non-HOFer but had given the Bills a couple of Superbowl rings? I'd rather have Plunkett and the rings baby.
  8. What was most interesting about that story was that he mentions why he thinks the Eagles should go no huddle against the Pats in the Superbowl. I agree with him, I'd also been thinking that we should go no huddle when and only when we play the Pats.
  9. It's obvious you know very little about football with that comment.
  10. Steve McNair. We all know our Defense and Special Teams are Superbowl worthy. Our offense would be Superbowl worthy with a QB like Steve McNair. I know that he's been hurt a lot. But if we were able to get him to stay healthy for 2 years and somehow get a Superbowl trophy during this time period then it would all be worth it. Tennessee is prime for rebuilding and I think that all of the vets leaving soured McNair and even has him contemplating retirement. I would think that Tennessee might be open to this if they were high on Losman at all. Anybody agree? Thinks it's stupid? Somewhere inbetween?
  11. Three words....Lapdance Film Festival.
  12. I think people here are focusing on the wrong area to begin with. The Bills need to get the offensive line in order first and foremost. McGahee needs to have the bruising line so that we can run the ball 40 times a game like Pittsburg does. It's time we get some probowlers up front. If we get a dominate line even Bledsoe could get us to the big dance. That being said, I hope Losman starts and Drew's the backup.
  13. With all the hype and talk up of JP I hope no one forgets that McGahee is the heart and soul of the Buffalo's offense. Losman's roll is not to turn the ball over and connect on a couple of big plays to Evans each game. I'd be suprised if he throws more than 20 times a game.
  14. Dillon in his prime? Not even close. Dillon was seen as a malcontent runningback who had very little tread left on his tires. In other words, damaged goods. Faulk in his prime? If memory serves me Faulk was shown the door because Edgarrin James was seen as a better younger option to a underperforming supposed NFL superstar. I've got 3 numbers for you...2960, 3120 and 3167. Those are the numbers of the last 3 years of rushing yards production to the team that drafted them for Faulk, Henry and Dillon respectively. You seemed to have attached a 20/20 vision to what Dillon and Faulk did after the their trades rather than look at what their value was before the fact. The kicker to this is that Henry is a young pup compared to both of these two when heading into trade negotiations. I'm not patting myself on the back, just scoffing at the beat down of Henry to the point people think getting a 2nd round pick for him is lunacy. If I feel that someone's "insider" is feeding us hogwash, I'm going to call it as I see it. Henry is going to be a great runningback for some team if the fit is right. Equating Travis to a bag of sh-- is insulting to Henry and what he's done for this team during a dark dark period.
  15. It was true. We were the leaders of an inferior conference. The fact that it turned out to be true was what we all hated.
  16. Yeah, is this the same "real NFL Insider" that thinks we'll be lucky to get anything for Travis Henry???? Do us all a favor and spare us from this idiots "inside" information. I have a feeling that he scouts for the Redskins, a team that has been the worst in the NFL at finding draft picks and productive free agents to help their team.
  17. AFC baby! I want the Eagles and entire NFC to learn what having a REAL team in your division is like. The NFC sucks eggs and I hope the Pats win big to prove this point. I also feel like if the Pats win, they definately won't make it back next season. If they lose, they'll feel like they have something to prove.
  18. I think that Jason Peters becomes a starting offensive lineman sometime during the 05 season. Where? I couldn't tell you. It's just a hunch. Dude is big, athletic and already provided some very good blocks in his rookie season. JP will not be the only member of the offense we're hoping has a quick learning curve.
  19. Agree 100%. I think TD has his sights on Walter Jones. He's forcing Bledsoe to take a cut or hit the road, having Moulds restructure, this does not sound like they are wanting the subsequent salary cap room to sign an overated and always hurt Jonas Jennings. As you said, they cost a lot but probowl OTs are worth it.
  20. Your wrong. That quote has always and forever been "My second favorite team is whoever plays the Dolphins". It was never reserved for the Pats. You must be a young whipersnapper. I want the Pats to win for a few reasons: 1. The Eagles team and fans are the most annoying ever 2. I want the AFC to win 3. I want the AFC East to be well represented 4. The players on the Pats are "team players" in an era were everything is me me me. (See TO and Freddie) BTW, did you know that the Eagles are an NFC team? Where's YOUR loyalty?
  21. Your right, my bad. But some of the others here are kind of transparent. "Blank" the Patriots!...That sounds so weak now with them on the verge of 3 championships in 4 years.
  22. I think a lot of your Patriot bashing is just plain envy. The only thing annoying to me about the Pats is that they make our team look silly. They play the game the way it was meant to be played. I can appreciate what they are doing as a team and only can wish that the Bills could someday win the Superbowl like they've done. That being said, I can still remember when we were going to the playoffs and getting props and well wishes from opposing afc east fans. It's called having a little class, unlike Philly fans who are devoid of any.
  23. They have every right to crow. Have you seen what their team has done in recent history?
  24. I'm sick of hearing about TO, Freddie's mouth, their fans who think the Pats haven't played anybody as good as the Eagles. That team and their fans are sooooooooooooooo annoying. I hope it's the Pats in a blowout.
