  1. Whoa! They'd be cutting him because he was given ample oportunity to prove he is capable of performing up to expectations and he failed. It would be going on four years if they went with Drew again. That is when TD's competance would be severely questioned by not only fans here, but NFL people throughout the league. We've seen every QB fail since Jim Kelly and Drew is no different. Flutie, Johnson, Bledsoe all had thier flaws that guys like Belichick could easily capitalize on. Going to JP Losman is simply moving on. Seeing if the kid has the "right stuff" a la Brent Farve. Another year with Drew Bledsoe is what you'd wish on your worst enemy. We've seen what he could do for 3 years. We don't need another one to come to the realization he's not a good quarterback.
  2. 4 or 5 wins IF we didn't have Willis McGahee. But we do. Great defense, special teams and running game will translate to having Losman toss the rock at most 20 times a game. I see Willis McGahee leading the Bills to at least a 10-6 record. Getting rid of Drew is a huge step forward and I'm laughing at all of the hand ringing going on today.
  3. IMO, Bledsoe supporters have every right to trash Losman. I gave up on Drew after the Pitt game but I don't know how you can expect Bledsoe backers to not have a negative opinion on the situation. BTW, I don't think the Bills coaching staff has any idea of whether JP is ready. No one can predict how good a quarterback is going to be until they prove it a regular season game. Finding star NFL QB's is the biggest crapshoot known in sports.
  4. Look, I know Bledsoe's bad but calling him a life-sucking B word is kinda harsh.
  5. Drew handed them 10 points. Final score? 29-24 end of story, end of season, thanks and drive home safely. Good luck with your new team Drew.
  6. They were playing the STARTERS for the Jags bro, STARTERS. Not the Pittsburg scrubs at home with a playoff birth on the line. I would love to hear from you why those 3 turnovers (two directly leading to 10 points) were not Drew's fault. Why the 7 three and outs were not Drew's fault. Explain to us why we should be supporting Drew as the Bills starting QB in the 2005 season. Please.
  7. Drew had 59:50 minutes of gametime to make up for that oopsie.
  8. I think we'll have either Rich Gannon, Brad Johnson or Kordel Stewart as JP's backup in 2005. I think Drew might be too proud to take the step down voluntarily.
  9. This is what happens when you lose at home to a bunch of Steelers scrubs with a Bills playoff birth on the line. Drew did this to himself. Wondering why so many fans have turned off to him is stupid. The final straw was seeing Bill Belichick win his third Lumbardi Trophy since trading Drew to a divisional rival. Enough is enough, time to turn the page.
  10. The Flutie fans were either chicks or bandwagon Flutie followers. He was not good that last year so I don't think many here missed him. The funny thing was that people were debating that we had two good quarterbacks to choose from.
  11. Jennings is good till he gets hurt. Do we really want to put that much coin on a player that won't be around for the playoff push and playoffs if we ever make it? I'm hoping we go after W. Jones. Not being able to finish out seasons is a huge thing in regards to Jonas Jennings. But that's just me.
  12. "I got something for you, Harrison." ...yeah, you got 1 catch you moron. He's the Ashley Simpson of the NFL.
  13. Why???? I would think that it would show he wouldn't back down to anybody. Even a HOF Bills QB like Kelly. If Kelly did say those things than I would WANT Losman to attack Kelly's record. It's only fair if he were to disparage this kid before he even plays.
  14. JP would probably say, "This is from a man that lost four staight Superbowls, so I don't take all that much stock in his comments."
  15. Firstly, you were trying to compare Rice and Swan's Superbowl acomplishments with Andre Reed's. Reed isn't even in the same zip code. Secondly, I think that Reed is borderline as a HOF. He put up great numbers but is a step below Rice, Swan and Irvin. It's a tough call in my book.
  16. What the heck kind of beer are they serving over there in London??????
  17. 0 touchdowns in four straight Superbowls. Comparing his Superbowl performances with Swan's and Rice's is laughable.
  18. Micheal Irvin was a big time leader on that Dallas team. He was huge part of the confidence that crew played with during their dominating era. He was a better receiver than Reed in both leadership and big game playmaking ability. Sorry if the truth hurts but that's how I see it. I think Andre Reed is borderline on making it to the HOF because he came up small during the Superbowls. Look at how long it took Lynn Swan and he was money in those games.
  19. and we care because??? Why doesn't the NFL foot the bill for the stadium and let NYS taxpayers spend their money on important things like schools, cops and firemen. Go blank yourself Tagliabue.
  20. I'm suprised they don't mention Travis Henry in a trade senario. Suggs and Green are not the same hard runner that Travis is. Green will be gone either way. I'm sure that Romeo would love to get his hands on a motivated Henry. He knows how tough he is and that he's a much better back than the knuckleheads they have now.
  21. The fun has just begun. I say split the diffence and give Nate a 5 million a year extension offer (he might bite since he would be hedging a bet against an injury that would lower his value). He's our best DB and should be paid as such. This constant rebuilding mode is getting old.
  22. I'm starting to see some fans here wanting a CB with the first pick. This has me completely baffeled. We are set at CB. We just need to sign Nate long term and forget about trying to stike it rich with a second round CB when it's offensive line we're sickenly thin at. Do you guys not like Nate or something? What gives here????
  23. Wow, great stuff! I think we've found our TSW capologist.
  24. Not many since we are all searching for who will be the backup to Losman.
  25. Or hungover. I heard the Eagles were partying all week.
