  1. Barry Bonds steriod logic: "I never read anything about me or baseball" "You're all a bunch of liers."
  2. 1) He's made a career of playing "lovable loser turns lucky" types in date movies. 2) A veteren journeyman BTW, Bledsoe really sucks.
  3. Jennings is overrated and he's not going to get close to the money he's seeking in free agency. I think he has a Bledsoe complex in that he values himself way higher than the way the rest of the NFL sees him. I want the Bills to resign Pat Williams and let Jennings walk. PW has always wanted to be a Bill his whole career. He's been a dominating DT and it seems he'd be willing to deal with the Bills. On the other hand, Jennings used to talk and talk about how he'd eventually become a Falcon and he apparently wants the Bills to overpay through the nose to retain him. Adios Jonas.
  4. Yes I did play football. But to clue you in, you don't have to have played football to know that all the technique in the world will not make you any faster or stronger unless you're cramming roids own your throat. He has all of the physical tools to be a good to great tackle. Technique can be taught which is why I think he should start training to be our next LT. Look at all the technique we've tried to teach Teague and yet he still gets bull rushed.
  5. Because he's a heck of a lot more athletic than both Jennings and Williams. The dude blocked a punt and recovered it for a touchdown. Who cares when he was drafted! Drafting position means nothing when players get on the field. Being a LT is a lot more about being big and quick than it is technique. So tell me Einstien, you'd rather dump a ton of cash on some guy that no doubt won't even be healthy when we need him most? Jennings NEVER stays healthy for a complete season.
  6. What about Jason Peters as our new LT? He's listed as a LT on BB.com. I do not want to overpay for Jennings. His injury history is a big risk when talking about such a significant cap hit. Coach up Peters like they'll be coaching up Losman.
  7. People still go to profootballtalk.com?
  8. ..sorry, I was wrong. Ryan Lindel was the other guy who failed to show up against the Steelers. He's gone too.
  9. Seven 3 and outs that day, that's SEVEN, leading to a miniscule 24 minute time of possession. Interception and fumble by Bledsoe led directly to 10 Pittsburg points. Drew Bledsoe failed to show up that day...period.
  10. Drew is so slow, he was shocked at the news about the Bills going in another direction. Frankly, I'm shocked he was shocked. Maybe this sheds some light on why he never saw the blitz in time.
  11. Bledsoe released himself against Pittsburg.
  12. That little slice of little humble pie might serve to motivate him when we play the champs.
  13. We don't know, however we do know how they'd do with Bledsoe at the helm.
  14. Got it. I'm not sure who I'd like to see. If I had a choice, it might be a guy like McMahon (I don't want a guy with a ton of baggage). I also don't want any Dolphin cast off thank you very much.
  15. Your missing plenty of backup QB possibilities: Mike McMahon Kordel Stewart Brad Johnson Rich Gannon Ty Detmer
  16. Beat Pitt and he still has an awful game? No. Beat Pitt and he has a good to great game? Yes. We lost AND he looked awful, hence today's press conference.
  17. It didn't look any better on TV. Good luck Drew.
  18. Not to mention that this is McGahee's offense, not Losman's. This is something that's lost on many. We're not looking for a "star" QB this year, just someone who can make heady plays and not turn the ball over.
  19. Here's a thought. Maybe...just maybe...this move changes the Buffalo Bills fortune in regards to playoff appearances.
  20. Bledsoe played like a rookie at the Ralph against a Steelers team playing backups with nothing on the line. This loss was so shocking it literally cost him his job.
  21. I wouldn't worry about it. Drew's a goner a couple weeks.
  22. The problem is that there are too many NBA teams. The talent pool is too small to support very good basketball. Compare the league in the 70's, 80's and early 90's to today. The main factor is expansion.
  23. The tough part of this is that the ONLY way we beat them is through the air. I foresee the Pats using 8 and 9 in the box to stop Willis. Malarky must attack where they are the weakest and that means connecting to Evans and Moulds for big plays. See Panthers and Eagles Superbowl passing success in the last two Superbowls.
  24. If we go 5-11 or 6-10 it will undoubtably be because Losman did not step up to the plate and collapsed under the pressure. I will not be all warm and fuzzy if this is the case. Is it that hard to ask Losman to not be a hero and take care of the ball???? That is all he has to do and it isn't asking a whole lot if you ask me. You seem to forget that we have a hellacious defense, running game and special teams. We have to make the playoffs or Losman no doubt gets tagged the goat. If he's not comfortable with this or does not want to put in the neccessary hours of practice than he should quit now. The Bills are no longer in a rebuilding phase compadre.
  25. None of us know what this kid can do. But many here, including me, think that going with Drew Bledsoe is about as wrong of a direction a team can go in. Losman was a first round draft choice and will be given every oportunity to succeed, including having a playoff caliber team surrounding him. If he fails than you could possibly say he's a bigger failure than Todd Collins. Because Tood was given a team that was well past it's expiration date.
