I'm going to say it again,
1billsfan replied to Typical TBD Guy's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
That's what I was thinking. Mike needs to start earning his bling bling contract. We're going to get a G and a RT in FA that will upgrad this line. I still have hope. -
...and with McNally as his guru I don't see why at 6-6 and 360 pounds he would be such a handicap to our offense. There are plenty of good RTs out there that can be had for say 2 million a year, spend 3 million on Wahle to help out Big Mike, then have Tucker and Teague duke it out for the center position with the odd man out being our utility lineman. 5 million and we have quite the road-grader offensive line.

Regarding Jennings and the Giants
1billsfan replied to 1billsfan's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
FYI - no offense taken VABills. -
I heard Paul Swartz (Giants beat reporter) say on WFAN in NYC that the Giants are interested in Jonas Jennings but the problem is that he's looking for franchise LT money. Apparently the Giants feel the same way everyone on this board feels in terms of Jennings' worth.

ok...should we throw in a pick for Shelton?
1billsfan replied to SuperBills12's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
The Cardinals playing hardball is just plain funny. The fact that they're trying to make us look desparate does not sit well with me. The Bills should cut em loose and start dealing with the Raiders. I'm not worried about the O line. They WILL get a couple of quality FA starters in here one way or the other. -
Anybody been to the Cowboys message boards?
1billsfan replied to whiteboy's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I ask a fan if he's stupid because he proposes that Buffalo is in rebuilding mode while Dallas is a win now team and this has somehow been painted as a slam? If this is cruel and unusual punishment then we're all turning into a bunch of shrinking violets here. -

I didn't say 100%. I think it was 90% Bledsoe's fault. He plays like a QB with a million dollar arm, two cent head all the while wearing lead socks. -

Hate to burst your bubble, but Bledsoe's inability to recognize blitzing scemes, hit his receiver in the flat and his penchant for inexplicably throwing to opposing linebackers deep in the middle of the field had something to do with the fact that he was a part time QB at One Bills Drive. Maybe being just good enough is ok for you and Drew, but the QB position is too important for that kind of lackluster dedication. Drew living in Montana during the offseason made about as much sense as him saying this was his team after his three turnover performance in the Steeler game. -

Bledsoe's a boob. BTW, I don't hate boobs. I only hate it when my QB plays like one. The time to make excuses for Bledsoe's bad play was two long seasons ago. Don't tell me JJ's press conference has you scared the Cowboys will make the Superbowl before the Bills. -

Not to mention that he never lived in Buffalo in the offseason. Bledsoe's about as old school as it gets. He still thinks he can come in and out all year like the other position players, while new school guys like Brady and Losman are willing to do their homework year round. Bledsoe reached a plateau then it's as if he said that's it...I know everything I need to know, I'm going back to Montana, see you in August. That's not good enough to cut it in today's NFL. -
NFL's top ten worst offseason moves
1billsfan replied to 1billsfan's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
The whole league knew that Jimmy Johnson or Al Davis were the only two teams that would take Randy. Fat Jimmy got too impatient. I'm glad we don't have to face that guy twice a year. -

Yes sir, my bad. There wasn't much player movement before free agency, but I'm sure there were some flameouts before Tony Manderich. -

I'm went with so-called sure things that went beyond bust. Guys like Marino and Montana slipping were flukey happenstances. I just wanted to get something going today because I'm sick of beating dead horse topics regarding our team. -
Bucs prefer opposite approach to Bills at QB
1billsfan replied to RJsackedagain's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
He called out Buffalo by name and mocked how they're handeling the QB position here. Don't pretend it was anything less than a direct slam. -
In random order. I've got nine, what am I missing here? San Diego drafting Ryan Leaf St. Louis drafting Lawrence Phillips Bills trading for Rob Johnson and paying him $25 million Green Bay drafting Tony Manderich Seattle drafting Rick Mirer Falcons trading for Jeff George Minnesota's trade for Hershal Walker Saints trading whole draft for Ricky Williams Miami trading down missing out on Randy Moss

He's being a bit of a panty waist if he's eager to be offended by someone making fun of so-called "beautiful" people, yet would most definetly relish in someone taking shots at our President. Not being pro-Bush here, just making the point that his own skin is razor thin when someone started taking pot shots at his stupid profession. -

Well Sean can expect his nuts to be a roasten in Rock's next HBO special. I guess Rock should have realized that you should not make fun of great looking famous people who make millions of dollars for a living. You know Penn was clapping and cheering during the Bush jokes though. -
Hey, we weren't good enough to make the playoffs last season. So look at these replacements as possible upgrades that will put us over the top. Bledsoe sucked, Jennings got hurt (again), and Pat Williams did not do a good job of pressuring QBs. Have patience that TD will do right by his team. I think we're on the verge of being a perenial playoff team again.

If he really wanted to make Penn mad he should have said, "Hey Spicolli, make yourself useful and go fetch me a pizza." -

Holy crap! I can't believe Gruden said that about Buffalo. This kind of head coach smack talk rarely happens, I'm shocked. To color the Bills situation as a team "giving" a player a position is completely baseless and shows Gruden is losing his grip in Tampa. Bledsoe defaulted the position to a first round QB pickup last season. Every organization knows that when you spend a first round pick on a QB the clock is running and you must let him play to see if he was the right choice. Simms was a third round choice so he sits his butt on the bench till he proves otherwise. Losman was a much better prospect since he was going in the first round whether it was the Bills, or another team that pulled the trigger. That comment was classless, Gruden is done down there anyways. See ya pieface. -
If we have to lose PW, what about Chis Hovan
1billsfan replied to N.Y. Orangeman's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
If 1.5 sacks and 11 tackles is over achieving than you have a seriously low threshold for achievement. You are so off the mark with Hovan it's not even funny. Guess what Buffalo DT had 4 sacks and 48 tackles last season? Ron Edwards. I rest my case. -
Hovan is a bust. Where have you gotten this idea that he's a better player than Edwards? The Vikings can keep their slow fat white boy and his measly 1.5 sack total thank you very much.

You could use this reply to describe Hovan. A lump. Fat, drunk and stupid is no way to go through life.
