  1. The Bills are looking for players that WANT to play for the Bills, and not just for the money. TD is saying "up yours" to the greedy agents and players and I for one whole-heartily support this philosphy. Overpaying for free agents is just plain stupid when there's a salary cap to deal with. TD is making sure were not in salary cap hell when McGahee, Evans and Losman's contracts run out. Don't forget, New England built a heck of a football team with FA scraps.
  2. Can I get a Demulligan?
  3. I think that DeMulling will go for the team that's "on the verge of greatness" instead of "in continuous rebuilding mode". Meaning he'll sign with the Bills.
  4. We have Willis McGahee, we have a killer defense, and we have a killer special teams unit. Your putting way to much weight into losing the overated Pat and Jonas. Both players had negatives. Pat was never able to pressure QBs and Jonas was brittle missing big chunks of every season. This team is on track to get to the playoffs as long as they run the ball and play great defense. Something they will no doubt be able to do with frequency.
  5. WTF? No mention of the RJ debacle? No Peerless? That list is stupid.
  6. Nate can only leave if the Bills do not come to an agreement AND choose to not use the franchise tag. Nate Clements is the exact type of player you use the franchise tag on. This way they get him for at least two more seasons. It seems everyone has forgotten this loophole.
  7. This just in...VABills' inside source has been cut.
  8. The last "new" band I thought was worth it's salt was The White Stipes. I think that too many bands are put through the corporation "machine" to max their market appeal. It strips away the originality factor. It's definately getting harder to find great new bands because radio is filled with all that fluff.
  9. The first four genres you mentioned are music for kids. If by geriatric rock band, you mean the Rolling Stones and Paul McCartney, then I just don't see your point. So just because they are becoming senior citizens means you no longer think their music should be relevant or has suddenly become crap? I think that Mozart and Bach would take issue with that stance. Great music lasts forever. DMB is beyond bland. I think this is why you're getting the negative DMB reaction here. I see it as the rocknroll soundtrack for soccer moms.
  10. We can tag him. Thus having Clement's services for two more seasons. We've already got the secondary taken care of, it's one of the most solid units on the team. Offensive line is the way to go on day one.
  11. Dead on bro. In a hundred years, the Bare Naked Ladies will not even be a blip on the history of rock music radar screen.
  12. That's easy...Dave Mathews Band.
  13. You think we have it bad? Washington is spending 9.3 million cap dollars in 2005 on Lavernous Coles who's now a New York Jet. 25% of the Skins cap is being spent on former players. Ouch!... http://www.washingtontimes.com/sports/2005...20841-3835r.htm
  14. Has anyone asked Donahoe or Williams flat out why this cap figure has not been dealt with? The Bills line is atrocious and obviously are trying desperately to get some quality linemen in here but Mike "major bust" Williams is holding us back. This issue should be front and center until resovled.
  15. Sounds like this guy has played GTA a few times before. I saw a story last week about a prisoner getting free using the same tactics (taking a gun from an officer and within minutes killed 3 officers and stole a squad car) and that was in a POLICE STATION. He was a bigtime GTA enthusiast.
  16. Maybe that bust Mike Williams should finally help out the Bills and give back some of the boatload of cash he doesn't earn. Maybe then we could get BOTH Womack and Demulling.
  17. The line play issue will not be resolved and put to bed until the regular season begins. Losman and the offensive line will have to gel quickly for us to become real contenders. That's the beauty of it though, we don't know what we have here. But we do know the other pieces are certainly in place (ie runningback, recievers, defense and special teams)
  18. Oh please. Micheal Bennett is a fragile little girlie runner. Yes, I know that Henry did get hurt last season, but he also has a history of playing hurt on a broken leg. Henry is a much more proven runningback than Bennett. Check out the yards gained stats.
  19. You forgot Law, Andruzzi and Phifer.
  20. So instead of getting a hard explosive runner Travis Henry, Dennis Green trades away one of the NFL's best young receivers for a soft runner like Micheal Bennett? Sorry, but I'd much rather have Henry and Boldin in the fold. Like night follows day, Arizona will always suck.
  21. Who's running that team? That's ridiculous money for a second tier LT with injury issues.
  22. Agian, I still don't think we've lost any ground.
  23. I think the Pittsburg game was the final straw for the silver fox. I don't think the decision had anything to do with their offseason offensive line projections.
  24. Patriots lost: Law Bruski (he'll likely retire) Andruzzi Brown Phifer Patten's going to be gone both coordinators Jets lost: Furgeson Jordan McKenzie's going to be gone Miami: sucks I'm not sweatin it yet.
