  1. I just don't see the Bills ignoring the defense in the 1st round for a WR when they already have Sammy, Clay and McCoy as solid receivers. However, I do see the Bills going WR in either the 2nd or 3rd round. The Bills taking Braxton Miller (for the slot role) with an eye on him taking over the #2 duties from Woods next year seems like a good plan.
  2. I'm thinking that WR is a luxury pick that the Bills simply can't afford with the gaping hole at the LB position. I really believe that Reggie Ragland's going to logically be the pick at #19. Is it a WOW pick? No. But he is as solid of a 1st round pick as you can get and he fills a real starter need both at his position and as a future team leader. It seems like the Bills would be able to get a quality DL player in the second round and there may even be a very good OLB prospect like Jenkins in rd 3 for them.
  3. No way do the Bills touch Nkemdiche. Whaley doesn't seem to take chances with character question guys unless it's in the later rounds. Whaley (not Rex) is going to pick someone who's a great player, someone who loves football and someone who's not a concern character-wise.
  4. The Bills probably have a few WR prospects in rounds 3-4 that they have tabbed as potentially solid #2 receivers and they'll probably pick one there. If that pick doesn't pan out then they can look to FA or the 2017 draft to replace Woods at that spot. IMO the Bills will pick either Paxton Lynch (if he's there), possibly trade the pick to a team like Denver who wants Lynch (if they're good with Taylor), pick a prime pass rusher or a CB if one of the top ones fall to them. I see no way they go WR with that first pick. Sammy is the go to guy and they need help in other areas.
  5. Jaylon Smith at #31 anybody? Getting an extra 2nd rd pick would make this a very tempting pick IMO.
  6. If someone's agent called you out nationally, would you be ok with a private "hey bud, that's just my agent trying to get me a great deal"? That's crazy. They may say they're ok with him, but this kind of stuff tends to boil over at some point and it's usually during the season.
  7. Agreed. There will be a QB drafted within the first four picks that has 2017 starter potential. He kind of does, since his agent took it there in the national media.
  8. Since his agent threw Rex and his team under the bus, yes Tyrod needs to state that he's either good with those comments or he's not.
  9. The story link was regarding a Tyrod interview from April 2nd. His agent threw Rex and his team under the bus on April 7th. How does that work as a response to his agent's controversial comments?
  10. Yes, Tyrod's agent threw Rex and his team mates under the bus. Not a peep from "team leader" Tyrod.
  11. That's easily 40 million in cap space for three players. Sammy's contract is up after next year's season and he'll easily be'll be worth 15 million by then, that's 55 million a year for just four players. I don't see how that adds up to success with a 53 man roster. With today's current giant QB contract, will Taylor be worth 20 million a year? Maybe a raw Paxton Lynch on a rookie deal for four years is actually the better option for long term success of the franchise? Can Taylor stay healthy with his small frame?
  12. The Bills are in a situation here with the impending Glenn and Gilmore contracts coming up next year and their current #2 WR being a free agent also. That's three positions that do not include DE, LB, S, OL needs which will hopefully be partially fixed through this draft. So in 2016, will Taylor perform to the level of a franchise QB worth 20 million a year and not having the extra cap space for several key positions? I would not be angry if they drafted Lynch because of the situation. Taylor seems like more of a game manager type of franchise QB that needs a lot of talent around him. If he gets 20 million a year how do you put talent around him? Also, let's look at the size differential of both Taylor and Lynch. Can you count on Taylor staying healthy for the long term?
  13. With his agent calling out the head coach and players and the rumors of Denver being interested, to me it looks like his agent might be trying to grease the skids to have his client be traded to the team that just won the Superbowl. His agent going there was an outrageous move that seems like it could have this end game as a motive.
  14. The thing that's also messed up is that the Broncos won't overpay for Tyrod Taylor (they want Kapearnick to play for 7 million per year) yet it looks like Taylor might want to go there. This whole Tyrod situation is a weird one. Throwing a head coach and teammates under the bus is never cool, it's even less cool when you've done almost nothing in the league.
  15. Tyrod Taylor already has created a QB controversy. He just threw his head coach and defense under the bus. Who cares if those were his agents comments, Tyrod's silence in this matter speaks volumes. Where are the denouncements on what his agent said? This is the age of instant messaging. It shouldn't be all that hard for poor little Tyrod. The poor guy who played so awesome all year and who would have made it to the playoffs were it not for his stupid head coach and his stupid defense. It wasn't his fault. I think the Bills will move on from Taylor because of this slap in the face stuff and they will have a new starting QB who will probably end up being better than what Taylor brings which is average QB play. If that's Paxton Lynch then so be it. Taylor certainly isn't a leader so let's keep looking for one at the QB position.
  16. This^ It literally makes no sense to draft a QB within the first three rounds if Tyrod Taylor is staying on this team. Taylor is still very young and will be a long term starting QB. You need to fortify the defense and offense around your young QB, not take another QB high in the draft, blowing a pick on a guy that's not going to play for three years. Now if the Bills plan on trading Tyrod to the Broncos, then we can talk about using a 2nd or 3rd rd pick for Cardale. But that won't be the play either, if they trade Taylor it will be after they've picked Paxton Lynch (be it through a trade up or having him drop to them). I can't believe we're back into the QB draft discussion, but thanks to Taylor and his loudmouth classless agent, we're right back there again.
  17. It's pretty clear the Bills like Paxton Lynch, given that they had a private dinner with him before his pro day. They may trade up ahead of the Rams trading away their second round pick. I think Denver's probably going to wait till draft day to trade for either Kapearnick or Taylor. If the Bills trade up plans to draft Lynch go through then they would probably get Denver's #32 pick (or someone else's second round pick in a trade). Then they would have a very good QB prospect and save 20 million a year in cap space for the next 4-5 years. Taylor was a nice story, but him and his 20 passing TDs aren't all that. I'd be fine if the Bills pulled that trade off. Would anyone here fear the Bills playing against Taylor right now? He simply just isn't at that super contract level and if he's going to sulk and wish he were elsewhere the Bills should probably do the deal of drafting Lynch and trading Taylor. If the trade falls through then the consolation is a motivated Taylor playing his contract year. Win win for the Bills IMO.
  18. Take a good look at the current QB landscape. The NFL may want that kind of a wide open game, but they don't have the horses they used to have. There are only a few true franchise QBs left who can beat you consistently with their arms in the league and there's only one a couple of them under 35. The NFL running game is going to make a comeback. Fitzpatrick looking for 15 million a year should tell you all you need to know that the current NFL QB landscape is a black hole.
  19. He's too little to play LB in a place like Buffalo. Late in the season you will get games that dictate teams running the ball and Lee would be of little service on those days. I get that the NFL is played like a video game nowadays, but you still need that strong and solid presence in the middle when you play in tough cold weather games. Ragland's tackling stats are almost double of Lee's. Maybe Lee's the one trick pony? How does being a pass defending LB first, tackler second work in the NFL? Also, how many times have we seen the Bills defense get run over because of missed tackles the last couple of years? The Bills don't play home games in balmy weather or in a dome. I just don't see Lee being picked by Buffalo at all.
  20. I would not pick a guy in the early rounds with issues in today's NFL. When they have issues coming in, those issues rarely get better with fame, 24/7 social media, 24/7 national media coverage, money...ect...ect... Want to do that from the 4th round on? Go ahead, but not with picks in rounds 1-3. Those guys need to become reliable people and starting players for your team.
  21. Ragland is a man and Reed is a boy. This team has enough followers on it, they need a leader. Also, Ragland will be a better NFL player than Reed. I don't know how anyone could draft Reed over Ragland.
  22. It's pretty much how long it took for Von Miller, Luke Kuechly, Bobby Wagner and Patrick Willis. BTW, notice how all those teams either went to a Superbowl in recent history?
  23. …because not only do the Bills need to hit on very good LBs with their new 3-4 scheme, they desperately need leadership on the field. Their star players are all the “quiet type” guys like Taylor, Watkins, Gilmore, Dareus. Kyle Williams of course is a leader, but he’s showing signs he’s not going to last much longer. LeSean McCoy is a flake. Sometimes the answer is just too darn obvious and teams shouldn’t let themselves get distracted by the shiny objects. Please Bills, just draft Reggie Ragland if he’s there.
  24. Oh shocker, Trump won't answer a question which would show his cards to the enemy. Are you that thick? We just had 8 years of a guy that showed all his cards, told everybody what was going to happen, when it was going to happen and every specific detail the enemy could ever want. And you bust on Trump for doing this??????? You guys have lost your marbles.
  25. Only a clueless person could suggest this about Trump when the man put on hold his life as the owner of a successful enterprise comprised of multibillion dollar businesses and a highly rated primetime network program to go and run for president. Do you really think Trumps enjoys the constant crap storm of criticism? The endless days and night of being on the campaign trail? The physical threats to himself and now his family? You need serious help.
