We’re blaming JC now? I think given the crap we gave him, he’s done a good job. I don’t know why people want to rip him all the time. He is a very solid nfl coach who has been on some very successful teams. He is not close to our biggest problem.

1). They traded up for Zay instead of staying out and picking JuJu or Cooper Kupp. 2). They thought Jordan Matthews could replace Sammy as a threat. 3). They picked 2 undersized slot receivers this year instead of taking a guy like ESB from Notre Dame who is 6’5” and had 80 yards last game. 4). They traded draft picks for Kelvin Benjamin. 5) they hired Dennison, fired him and Tyrod, hired Daboll and on a historically awful pace offensively. 6) they keep Peterman, nice guy, around to be terrible. i know it’s cool to try and blame Whaley and the salary cap for all of the problems but it’s not true. A lot of the offensive moves are self inflicted.

There is zero reason for 4 games. I do feel bad for the fringe nf players because this is where you can earn a job. But I think EJ had like a 140 QB rating one preseason.

I kinda shows how “good” Fitz is. He has a very limited arm but can at least make plays. I’ve never seen anything like NP. I do feel kinda bad for him but it’s painful.

He seems like a really nice guy. At this point, if SM cares about Peterman, he needs to make sure he never sees the field again. He will have no future in the nfl.

For me personally, Allen is exactly what I thought he would be and it’s why I didn’t want us to pick him. His weaknesses are the ones that are very difficult to overcome. I mean we’re stuck with him and he should get 2 years but he is making EJ’s rookie year look amazing. He didn’t ? his pants. I will say he looks the part minus the passing part.

I can’t tell if this is sarcastic or not. I watched the entire game. I’ve also watched other football games. Nothing about yesterday was good. He made 2 good passes. I think Bills fans are suffering Stockholm syndrome for years of bad offensive football. They were before my time but I would imagine they would have faired better in today’s nfl. It has never been easier to be a nfl QB (which is still the hardest job in sports).

So fans can overreact.

It’s not ever close in today’s nfl. It is so much easier to find defensive players and a good DC, than the other way. Wade Phillips was on twitter begging for jobs. if you draft a qb, you need an offensive head coach. If you inherited a franchise qb, then a defensive head coach is fine. But this league wants you to pass and score. The Bills are in another league.

Yeah, I don’t get this line of thinking. SM is on OC number 2 already. Most of their offensive decisions have been horrible. They picked a raw qb who wasn’t that great in college and were forced to play him because their other option is so terrible. How can anyone be confident with them going forward? There are backups better than him. I mean he’s young but he has been. He’s way worse than EJ was as rookie!

You think Allen is top 25-30 right now? I think he would look better than Allen.

I mean I respect anyone for being optimistic. But holy crap, is this real life? We are saying a qb who “led” us to 6 points and had 80 yards passing looked good? What is your comparison? Pop Warner? Then yes, Allen looked good. But compared to 99% of the nfl that performance is borderline being in the nfl. Im not going to run his out of town but we are standards for “good” are so pathetically low.

Honestly, we win that game with Fitz. But this isn’t going to happen.

I can’t imagine watching that game and finding a way to blame the defense. this is like the same Bills thing that has been going on forever. Have a good defense, crappy offense, and some fans blaming the defense because they give up a td. A non historically bad offense probably wins that game. Defense was awesome (and the Texans have a trash o line).

I agree but the front office that couldn’t build an offense also picked a qb who wasn’t really that good at the MWC.

Tre White is awesome. He is very good and an excellent young cb. SM is an awesome secondary evaluator. that said, KC would laugh at a trade offer of White and Allen for Mahomes. Only if Allen can become a franchise type qb, this trade won’t be a disaster.

The age is extremely important. I know it’s not his fault but McCoy’s production doesn’t match his contract and it could only get worse. Its a nfl where wrs matter more than rbs.

Aging rb with “potential” legal issues for young receiver with top 10 “potential”? Come on 26, that’s a no brainer.

I’d trade McCoy in a heartbeat for Cooper.

That’s the cost of getting to acquire a stud like Mills. in all seriousness, for as super talented as he is, no one is worried that AC only has a good game every 4-5 games with a pretty decent QB?
