Zay Jones and pass interference
C.Biscuit97 replied to Hebert19's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Zay isn’t at a level where he will get the benefit of the doubt on calls. -
The Patriots Have Signed Ramon Humber
C.Biscuit97 replied to 26CornerBlitz's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Damn, now we are going to lose for sure. I mean, is it bad that I would find it hilarious they sign Peterman and he becomes Brady’s replacement. -
The point is you’re second guessing Mahomes, who had 50+ tds his last year in college based on what? Mel Kiper’s early mocks???? There were draft “experts” who had Allen as a mid round pick. Are the Bills stupid for taking him 7 overall? one of the best offensive coaches traded up to take Mahomes. Sort of looks ok now. He was a rawer first round prospect but he has a generational arm. The Peterman experiment was hilarious in a terrible sort of way. The only Bills game I couldn’t watch the last few years was the Chargers game. I think I was being pranked with his ints. Wish him well though.

Is it anymore impressive than Whaley? We had SB talent minus the qb. Odds are we are finishing with a worse record than any year under the previous regime. Also, one of the biggest knocks on Whaley was trading up in the draft. These regime has done this 3 times - Allen (not a fan of the pick but I’m ok with trading up for a qb), Edmunds (I like him a lot but will he be that much better than Darius Leonard who went in the 2nd), and Zay (playing better but could have not traded up and taken JuJu or Kupp). its all about the qb. Other positions aren’t that hard to find. Hell, the Jauron teams could always find 7 wins. I have no doubt he would have better than a 63 qb rating.

That Star’s performance has had no impact on our overall team record. He is good at his job but it’s a job that he does less than 50% of the time. IN today’s nfl, you’re better off overpaying a receiver than a run stuffing DT. SM has an outdated way that football is won now. I think you say this every year. You just forgot the Cam sucks part this time. McDermott, who is running this team, is good at defensive personnel and terrible at offensive personnel.

Week 10 Hindsight: Was the AJ McCarron Trade a Good One?
C.Biscuit97 replied to Rigotz's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Yeah. AJ is better than Peterman (who isn’t) but he didn’t show it this preseason and he won’t have made a big difference either way. A 5th round pick is way more than he is worth. The problem was going into the season with just Peterman and a Allen and not signing a vet QBs right away. She’s pretty for Alabama. ? -
Send Jerry Hughes to the Probowl!
C.Biscuit97 replied to GreggTX's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
He’s played well but it’s going to be hard for the Bills to get multiple pro bowlers. I think Tre White is the only one who goes. -
Patrick Mahomes: He is having an incredible season
C.Biscuit97 replied to SDS's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
As huge Mahomes fan, this is just a silly tweet. A more dispclined Aaron Rodgers? Dear lord. -
Wow, ❄️ is sensitive. Stop being a baby and name calling. the point was that Star isn’t impacting either team’s big picture significantly. The Panthers were 6-2 and got killed on a short week road game. The problem with a guy like Star is you can gsmeplan him if the field. The Pats played the Vikes, who had the #1 run defense. Rather than run against it, they came out in multiple receiver sets and just threw all the time and blew out the Vikes. Additionally, we have been killed in a bunch of games, especially in the 1st half. The Bears game was over at halftime and they just went super conservative and ran very predictable run plays to milk the clock. Finally, Star plays less than half of the snaps. This is like when people got hyped when we signed Brandon Spikes. But he saw his snap counts go down every year because the league is changing. Star is good at his job. But paying $10 million for a guy who plays half of the snaps seems like a bad investment.
-
But it’s also about modern football. Star is really good at his role. But the truth is paying big money to one dimensional DT in a passing league isn’t the best use of team resources and doesn’t have a major impact on your team. We are in decent cap shape but if Allen, Dawkins, a receiver ever get their second contracts, you would never pay a DT what Star is making. He hasn’t been healthy in 3 years. Not likely to get better with age.

Matt Barkley (asking for a friend)
C.Biscuit97 replied to McBean's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Fitz is much better than Barkley. His interceptions aren’t mistakes. They are because of poor physical skills. -
With all due respect,I don’t really agree with this. I think guys over complicate things. As a result, players are thinking more than playing. Ive never questioned Daboll knowledge of football. I just don’t think he has ever demonstrated ever really being anything than a bad OC. Some of the best offenses are pretty simple and generate a ton of big plays off very similar play designs. Some coaches try to make football rocket scientist. Find mismatches and exploit.

Ronald Darby Tore ACL. Done for the Season
C.Biscuit97 replied to JerseyBills's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
SB hangover year. Darby was another very good Bill playing for another team. Best of luck to him. -
I’ll never take pleasure in someone losing their job but very few people were worst than he was. I blame people for overhyping a 5th round pick in the first place. I woukd if he gets another shot anywhere. Maybe practice squad. He was historically awful.

Kelvin Benjamin needs to be cut
C.Biscuit97 replied to TwistofFate's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I think he sucks and have thought that for a long time. But being over emotional and cutting him does nothing. I do like the idea of making him inactive. Dude is James Hardy RIP right now. -
Matt Barkley (asking for a friend)
C.Biscuit97 replied to McBean's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
There were guys wide open and a better ass might have been touchdowns in some cases. Barkley played great for him but he is what he is. I can’t imagine his arm in the wind at New Era. But I think he bought him a shot at a backup job (still worse career numbers than EJ ?). -
Has the light finally gone on for Zay Jones?
C.Biscuit97 replied to KOKO NFL's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
This is so legit. I used to be the biggest homer ever and would be depressed and angry when they lost. The last decade just worn me out. I just expect the most painful loss ever and when they don’t do that, it’s a pleasant surprise.
