Or maybe the Bills have had crappy qbs who couldn’t get the ball to our receivers. clay is a good and versatile TE who was handcuffed by crappy throwing qbs and injuries. He is gone and will probably sign with a good Team and be a really solid TE #2.

I get why the Vikes did it but Cousins never seemed like anything special. It has been repeated thousands of times but teams don’t let qbs they believe are franchise changers walk if they think they are good.

Not be the worst starting qb in the nfl like he was pre injury. i know people don’t want to hear it but he is off to a worst start to his career than EJ Manuel. I still think EJ was put in awful situation (just like we repeated with Allen now) but he never took the next step. I’m still not a fan of the pick but if he can take the next step (over 150 yards passing!!!), I would feel slightly better.

You’re right. He doesn’t have the explosion that Donald has. But in 2014, he looked like one of the best DTs in the nfl with 10 sacks. DTs, minus Donald, rarely get that many sacks. I always put Dareus in the category of a guy who plays football because he was good at it but he didn’t love it. Donald seems like he love football and will do whatever he can to be awesome at it.

They should look at a qb every year until one has been found. Obviously not in the first round next year but I’m fine with any other round. If your worst case is you have 2 good qbs, that’s a great problem to have.

If Ramsey grew up playing hockey, he would probably be in the nhl. He is a world class athlete. i think it’s great To have a villain. Would anyone care about Jacksonville if he wasn’t on the team? It’s weird. All the “experts” said last year’s qb class wasn’t good but this year’s was super awesome. weird that the qb who has won everywhere, and dominated Alabama twice is really good in the nfl. Weird but I guess it’s all luck.

I’m calling it now: Bills-Jags will be a much more exciting game than last night! Smith had 26 tds in 16 games. Mahomes has 37 so far in his 1st year as a nfl starter. if you try to say anything other than Mahomes is amazing, you’re just wrong. He is a special talent on a good team. But isn’t that cause and effect? You generally rush for more yards when you’re winning. The Bills have a very good defense but it is skewed because in the 2nd half of games they are getting blown out in, teams aren’t as aggressive. Obviously balance helps but Brady has averaged over 300 yards passing/ game and has 8 tds and 2 ints in 4 games against pretty good teams (KC,GB, Hou, Chi). i hate the Pats and Brady isn’t the best qb in the nfl. But this is such a lazy narrative (the author) and gets repeated every year. One day, I hope we can talk about the decline of the 7-3 Bills.
