Is Vander Eshe to Edmunds the same as Juju to Zay
C.Biscuit97 replied to Teddy KGB's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
The JuJu/ Zay thing is terrible. JuJu is a top 10 receiver in the nfl. to be completely fair, receiver is such a dependent position. However, I was a huge JuJu fan in college and knew he’d be a stud wherever. But it’s like the Sammy trade up. He was about as good of a receiver as I’ve seen in college. If Sammy was picked by a different team with better Qbs and ObJ ended in Buffalo, perhaps their careers are completely different. But that is just another reason not to trade up for dependent positions. I’d argue that linebacker is a dependent position. However if you find an elite one, they are super valuable. We need Edmunds to be elite. -

Personally, I wish people would be consistent. We’re all Bills fans and want the best for this team. But one of the weakest points of the Whaley regime was trade ups. Basically, it rarely works out when you trade up. Even though Allen was not the qb I wanted, they get a pass because it’s a qb. And I really like Edmunds but he has to be an all pro type player to justify the trade up with how VE and Leonard of the colts are playing. It’s the same thing with Trading up with Zay and JuJu and Cooper Kupp. dear future Bills GMs (hopefully I’ll talking to myself ), trading up will probably look stupid one day so don’t do it. -
It’s phoniness of it and hypocritical nature of it. Some people get more upset about a protest than they ever did about domestic violence. Some people tout family values while their teenage daughter is getting knocked up and their son beats up their dad. Im far from perfect but I would never tolerate a man who hits a women or child or justify them being on a team I like. And I most certainly wouldn’t get more mad about CK or dudes protesting than I would about Foster and Mixon. I do think McDermott goes a bit overboard with the character stuff but I’d like to think we would never entertain bringing trash like this to the Bills. Are you 12? That sucky qb is better than your hero Kyle (slide coward) and has a fair superior career than any qb on the Bills roster. And i I started a thread about Mixon in college and how he was a trash human being. But keep defending women beaters. You are a true patriot and hero!!!

This stupid narrative again. Just be honest and say you don’t like CK’s politics instead of just making up things. He had a 16 td to 4 int ratio, a 90 qb rating, nearly 500 yards rushing on a team where Jeremy Kerley was their best receiver. People are anointing Josh Allen as a franchise savior with a 63 QBs rating. Imagine if Josh Allen had CK’s terrible td to int ratio of 4 to 1? We would have him making the hall of fame. if you say CK sucked his last year, your agenda is very clear and you’re a liar. I mean he’s not on Brandon Weeden or Tom Savage’s level but still. https://www.washingtonpost.com/news/early-lead/wp/2016/12/16/the-video-of-oklahoma-rb-joe-mixon-punching-a-female-student-is-now-public/?utm_term=.097704c50d43 second round pick. Zero threats to boycott the nfl. If that bothers you less than a dude taking a knee quietly, you are part of the problem in this country. I irrationally love the Bills but if they ever drafted Mixon or signed these scums, that would be it for me. It’s pathetic what some people do to rationalize “their” team to win.

If only he beat a woman and was as good as Tom Savage! You don’t see how this looks bad, though? We give due process for women beaters but not a guy who silently protested? and say there’s a small chance Foster, who’s had issues since high school, is innocent? Explain Joe Mixon. Where were the owners/ league on that? Where were the fans threatening to boycott the league if he got drafted? How about the Giants kicker who played for a year while there were numerous domestic violence charges? imo, football is the greatest sport invented. But the nfl is run by scumbags with a lot of double standards and the fans allow it.

Was Baker Mayfield a DOUCHE Yesterday?
C.Biscuit97 replied to Johnny Hammersticks's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
This stuff is why I kinda hated him. At the same time, it’s this type of little man chip on his shoulder stuff that has probably gotten him this far. I bet he’s going to mouth to wrong person one of these days. That said, he is a pretty good young qb. -
Hahaha. He threw 16 tds and 4 ints his last year. We have a celebration when Allen completes a pass. But you’re right. It’s all about talent and nothing else. It’s why Barkley, Weeden, Savage, Jones, and nine million scrubs are getting signed before Kaepernick. It’s all about winning! face it. The nfl is a scumbag league that takes BS morale stances. They are fine with drafting guys who beat women multiple times; punch a pregnant girlfriend; or knock a women out on video. Owners can do so because fans can less about this than a dude who silently protested. Fans need to look at themselves in the mirror and ask why they get more upset about Kaepernick than Foster, Mixon, or Hill. If you have women in life and get more upset about Kaep than those guys, what message are you saying?

How much more mileage is left on the Shady chasis?
C.Biscuit97 replied to PlayoffsPlease's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Should have traded him when he had some value. Great player but isn’t ever come close to his contract again. Yeah, LF is not a special back. Imagine Watson or Mahomes on the Jags. -
You’re the guy who tried to put down Andy Reid’s offensive resume. You have no idea what you’re talking about. And Lincoln Riley will be a NFL head coach. The game of football has passed you by old man. He days of 8 completed passes and runs on 3rd down are done.

Does Danny Crossman Survive This Year?
C.Biscuit97 replied to Phil The Thrill's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I’ll be honest. I had no idea who was our STs coach and it really hasn’t been a major concern one way or the other. -
Andy Dalton Out for the Season with a Thumb Injury
C.Biscuit97 replied to 26CornerBlitz's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Sure and that’s ideal. But Dalton is probably a better overall qb than Allen at this point. -
He started a true freshman walk on. It was the first time ever a BCS school has ever done that. But awesome point. The 1st time head coach started a true freshman walk on (who became the 1st overall pick), replaced him with a 3rd round pick, and then replaced him with the 10th overall pick who is setting nfl records. Clearly, he has no idea what he is doing.

Good post and dialogue. My counters: 1) points by starter: Peterman 6 points/ game (2 GS), Anderson 5.5 (2 GS), Barkley 41/ game!!!, and Allen 16.2/ game (6 GS). I also put blame on the OC for the qb situation. Also, Hurts regressed under Daboll after being SEC offensive player of the year as a freshman. 2) Texas tech started a true freshman and averaged 33.7 points. 3) what’s more likely: KK thrives solely concentrating on offense in a nfl that values wide open offenses? Or Daboll fields another bottom 5 offense? Its not not so much about Daboll as it is about doing whatever you can to maximize a major investment. The Titans stuck with Mularkey to keep consistency with Mariota. The Bucs did the same thing with Dirk K. There is is no rule that says Buffalo has to watch awful offense. Ask yourself what Dick Jauron would do or what Sean McVay would do? Jauron keeps Daboll. Mayfield left because he was told he had to compete for his job. I think he worked out well for everyone involved. KK also started Mayfield as a true walk on freshman. So yeah, he deserves credit for helping his development. But great point about all those bums. KK only recruited/ developed Mayfield (again a walk on) and Mahomes. Clearly, he has no idea what he is doing. Did you see Daboll’s work with Tom Brady???
-
Honest question: but what has Palmer proven to be a qb coach? There is a big business of combine/ draft QB “gurus” who never sniff the nfl. These guys teach them certain skills to prepare for the combine and pro days. It feels like we have had every washed up qb on our roster at one point.

Any player that punches another player with a helmet on should be penalized for being an idiot. -

C.Biscuit97 replied to YoloinOhio's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Wow, didn’t expect that but if he really came off the bench, then that’s a big no no. He murdered people’s fantasy teams. I wonder if the Jags would rather have Mahomes or Watson right now. ? -
With due respect, you don’t see the difference between being a failed first time head coach and a consistently bad OC? I think Tech averaged around 40 points while KK was there. He worked with the best young qb in the nfl and worked with the first overall pick this year. Daboll’s only “successes” have been with NE and Alabama, where we could have been successful there. This is is a bold move. SM, as much as I doubt his football philosophy, isn’t going anywhere. But the Rams fires their defensive minded coach to hire a young offensive one. The same with the Bears. Mahomes has one of the best offensive coaches in the nfl. Watson has an offensive head coach. I’d argue that Allen is rawer than any of those guys. But Bills fans should be happy with our 14 point offense.

That would be a quarterback controversy in the making.
