You honestly believe black coaches are giving the same chances as white coaches? People are taking about firing Tomlin and he has a winning percentage of 65%. It you look silly putting down what PM did or saying Allen would be doing the same. Allen wasn’t even dominant in college at Wyoming. Maybe he gets there but Mahomes is in a different galaxy.

He averaged 3.9 ypc and can’t catch the ball. He doesn’t suck but he isn’t a rb you spend a top 5 pick on.

Wilkes got fired after going 3-13 in his first year. hknrstly, most of those coaches are a dime a dozen. There are very few game changing coaches.

He could. But also completed 52% of his passes (I know it was not his fault) after completing 56% in college (obviously not his fault either) and had a 66 qb rating. He could very well turn out to be special. But every other fanbase but ours would laugh at that trade. Our head coach is the GM. He hired Beane. He will get the final say.

I would take that bet. And I never fear a coach. But I think a big reason we never feared Miami is because they have Tannehill. He’s not good enough but Gase was forced to have him. Darnold is most talented qb he has had since Manning. SD may turn out to be a bust but I won’t just brush this off.

The Chiefs would laugh at us if we offered them Allen and White for Mahomes. This will be had trade to win because Mahomes might be an all Time great. White is awesome but he’s a corner. Allen would need to become a top 10 type qb. but yeah, we mostly likely lost the deal. Reid took advantage of his former assistant. Do you honestly think Allen will be the next Mahomes? But yeah, if Allen throws for 50 tds, we won the trade.

This is also why you don’t retain a bad coach for the sake of continuity. Jameis has all the arm talent in the world and has great weapons. His decision making on and off the field is so dumb though. and I was never sold on Mariota. Kinda of gimmicky and gets hurt all the time. But he looked pretty good his 2nd year.

I already decided if the Bills, god willingly ever make the SB, I’m putting $1000 on the other team. A win-win.

I think you know this but I spent years being called a homer. It’s funny to do to others. i will say being a “realist” makes watching games so much easier. I used to get so mad when they lost when I was a homer. Now, I get pleasantly surprised when they win.

Ok, let’s end this because it sounds like we both were a little off on our positions. To clarify, I was calling out posters say how terrible Gase was. Personally, I think he is a good offensive coach who was stuck with not great qbs in Miami. My point in bringing up McDermott was for the people calling Gase terrible, our coach had a worse winning %. And while it’s not exact science, I don’t think Miami was some super talented team that underachieved. Their roster kinda sucks and RT isn’t close to as good of a qb to elevate him. and I certainly wasn’t saying SM sucks. That’s fair. Bell is the more explosive player. Their oline is great and their great wrs open up the field for their rbs (something the Bills have completely disregarded the last 2 years). would you sign him if you were the Jets? Yeah, Miami looked like ?. And as great as the women and weather can be, Miami sucks as a football town. I think players just go down there to basically enjoy the social life. It blows my mind that Miami is such a blah team for so long. It should get any free agent they want.

Bell would be interesting for sure. Personally, given how well the Steelers other backs played and his me first attitude, I don’t know if I would want to pay him that much. But if they do, I think they could be dangerous on offense. Darnold needs to protect the ball better though. And considering 90% of Jets fans are morons, it’s going to end up being a solid hire.

That’s fair. I think people underestimate how much Tannehill sucks (sucks might be strong but he is the definition of a meh qb plus he can’t move anymore). Their roster kinda sucks too. Who is their number 1 receiver? Kenny Stills? They have maybe 2 good players on defense. i would easily take Darnold and the Jets roster over Miami’s. Imo, Gase will maximize SD’s potential. I guess you can argue over how good he will be but I don’t think it is a bad hire at all. Miami had a very limited Qb and roster.

How are you making sense? Seriously, compare their roster to ours. Their receiving core kinda sucks. Their defense kinda sucks. Tannehill kinda sucks. again, you’re the one getting fired up. I just said it’s hkmer logic to say Gase is terrible while ignoring our own coach’s record. But trusting the process is genius. Trade good players, so you can say you don’t have talent and you just need more time.

I was wondering this: what would do if you’re Murray? Imo, football is so superior and exciting of a sport. I like baseball but there’s no comparison to a football game. That said, dude can make a lot more money and save his body a lot of pain. i think I would go baseball but man, it would be a tough decision.
